I have a 20 year old hvac system and know I am on borrowed time. Last year during a heat wave our ac went out so I frantically stated my on line
search for anybody willing to come out and save the day. Three companies came out and all 3 immediately started with the ""well you know"" routine......yes I know the system is old and yes I know that I need to replace but can you please just see if it can be repaired and get me through for now. Naturally, all 3 said the unit was dead and offered me proposals for a new unit. All $10,000.00 and above. Desperate I called UB who said they could be out the next morning. The next day Tech James came out and after looking at the unit commented well lets see what's going on instead of the usual well you know routine. When he left the house my ac was blowing out cold air. The following summer again my ac went out and again I called UB who came out and again got the unit blowing cold air. Yes I know I need a new unit, and when that time comes it will be UB that gets my call. Not once did they try and sell me a new unit and both times they were able to repair. Instead I was given an honest assessment of the unit I have and was told when the time was right for me to give them a call and they would be more than happy to provide a quote. Honest, reliable and friendly.

Why did I not find them sooner? I've used other AC companies and always felt that I've been ripped off when I write the check. With UBS, not only were they honest, they did fantastic work and saved me a lot of money! James, the technician, explained to me the problem thoroughly, the owner Phil gave me all my options for repair. Will definitely use them for maintaining my HVAC system in the future! UBS has saved me from two near-death experiences! Well, not exactly.... but close! While renting, my heater went out in the dead of winter and my house was ice cold. One call to Phil and UBS stepped in next day and saved my freezing body with a delivery of several portable heaters. Best part, a year later I was in another rental and heater went out and of course, I called UBS and was saved again.

UBS is locally owned, involved in the community, member of the Chamber, and really great to work with. Phil, the owner, and his entire staff are kind, great at their skill, have super customer service, and the list goes on.

I recommend UBS often to my friends because I know they'll be taken care of!

When you need an air conditioner repaired- you NEED it repaired. We've now contacted UBS twice (last summer in the middle of a heat wave for my mother in law's home and this summer for ours) and both times they have sent someone within 24 hours to repair our air conditioners. The technicians were professional and efficient. Great company to work with, we would definitely recommend UBS!

No need to research anyone else: UBS will meet all your HVAC needs. It's an awesome locally owned business with great customer service. They do a great job making repairs without trying to up sale you into what you don't need. Friendly, professional plus they get the job done quickly and affordably. I cannot say enough about how much I love UBS. I had my AC go out in the middle of a heat wave and first called Bell Bros. They wanted to charge me $2400 to fix the compressor and a few other things. When I called out UBS they worked with me on getting the compressor fixed under warranty which saved me a $1,000!!!! They are extremely professional and knowledgeable. Most important thing is that they pointed out things that were nonessential to fix immediately and could address later. NO up-sell like Bell Bros. tried to do. I've had them work on my rental and referred them to a few friends. All had good things to say about them.
