Don't believe what you read on this Company's website! They are anything but ""hassle free"". They are unreliable when it comes to scheduled appointments. They miss an appointment regarding a water leak and then you have to chase them down by calling their office countless times only to receive a voicemail. When you leave a message no one calls you back.
Even worse, their Plumber, Daniel, came to our home Thursday afternoon to fix the leak. It is behind the wall in the shower so it's a relatively urgent matter. He told me he would get with his ""manager"" and call me back on Friday to let me know when he would be back that day.....no call. I called him and he promised to call me back shortly...no call back!
They did not return my phone call today...it's Saturday and now they are closed until Monday.
i contacted American Home Shield and complained about this Vendor. if they assign this Plumber to you I recommend that you call American Home Shield and request a different Vendor!!
Terrible customer service from a Company that just doesn't value their Customer!!

Worst service I have ever received. American Home Warranty sent them. Took over 5 weeks for service, canceled 3 times. Never fixed all the items. Tech walked of the job. He didn't like my attitude. Ruined my bathroom floor. Took 3 times to fix toilet. Never fixed the sink faucet. Broke pipe water went everywhere. Never fixed.Still waiting for faucets to be fixed. Bought and fixed on myself. Canceled AMH warranty. Not dependable.

I called Brittanie to see how fast someone could replace our water heater since ours had just gone out, and was leaking all over the floor. Not only did she give me a great deal, she sent Juan over in less than 24 hours! Thank you Brittanie and Juan!

U.S. Plumbers and Rooter handled a plumbing issue at my home in Rio Vista. The Plumbers were very polite and wore masks and took their shoes off before entering the house. They quickly resolved the problem and what I was charged was very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Joe showed up early and quickly took care of our sink and shower issues. Their rates are very reasonable too. I would highly recommend Joe and his crew at US Plumbing & Rooter, Inc.

This is the best plumbing company we have ever used. The receptionist is very professional, thoughtful and warm. Great first impression. The two gentlemen are absolutely wonderful - they are very knowledgeable, efficient and positive. They replaced our garbage disposal, fixed the faucet, and showerhead ( the showerhead and faucet were problems not completed by the previous two plumbing companies). We had some horrible experiences with other plumbing companies but so glad this is a positive one. Highly recommend this company to all customers and insurance companies.

We are going to let American Home Shield know as well. Thank you US Plumbing & Rooter. You are the best and thanks again.

Javier was super fast !! Prompt , great follow up from Xavier since yesterday to ensure our services were addressed. Wonderful experience and refreshing to encounter honest and exceptional professionals. Javier was super quick on time and that man was lightning !!! I would recommend them to anyone! With elderly inlaws , kids and a pregnant wife water heater down was a huge challenge for us but they made it happen and even provided the repairs ahead of schedule!

Initially, communication was an issue. Once Brittanie got in touch with me, she promptly provided me with the information I requested: copy of my receipt and a list of items/servIces that were not covered by my home warranty company. The hot water tank was installed quickly and expertly without issue. All my questions about the building permit were answered. Whether or not, your home warranty assigns U.S. Plumbing & Rooter, you will be very pleased and satisfied with their service and quality of work.

I was assigned this company through my home warranty for my water heater (no hot water!), a leaky faucet, and toilet (water won't stop running).
They called me on Thanksgiving Day to schedule, and I thought things would go great because they seemed super understanding over the phone. +1 STAR

The first plumber came at least 2 hours before the scheduled window; which would normally be great, but I work crazy hours and it woke me up. He said it was no big deal, and he would return at the end of the day if that was ok. I said sure, thinking that he would show up around 3 or 4 like he said he would. He never came back. -1STAR (I wanted to subtract more, but this brings them back to 0STARS, so I'll roll with it.)

I rescheduled with the company for another plumber to come out and take a look. The second plumber came in, looked at the water heater and said it needed to be replaced, checked my toilet and made a note of the part he needed to replace, but my faucet stopped leaking (magically) so he said there wasn't anything he could do about that. I asked what the process would be, and he said I have to wait for the warranty and see if they cover everything (which would be fastest) or if I have out of pocket expenses (which is common and would likely take longer). I asked how long it typically takes because I need my hot water. He said it should only be a matter of days (because I asked if it would be days, weeks, what?) Nothing happened, so no STAR action here.

Fast fwd to today (12/11/2020):
The second plumber and another guy came to install my water heater. They began to drain the water heater, and started the process of unscrewing things to get it ready to remove (The second plumber offered to do maintance through the company for an additional $300 but I got mad cuz I am already paying so much out of pocket for uncovered costs: $1075) then offered a lower price, but I still wasn't biting. (-1STAR) The other guy ended up showing me how to drain the water heater and recommended I do it within a few days of the install to ensure any residual sediment doesn't back up into the new unit. (+1 STAR) . The second plumber said that he had to go to the store to pick up a part for the toilet that he forgot about, so the water heater could finish draining while he was at the store. He came back and fixed the toilet (even showed me how to do it in case I ever need to do it myself in the future +1STAR).

While he was fixing the toilet he made a phone call to his office requesting they charge my credit card on file, as I requested. While he was on the phone he kept going back and forth with the other person on the line, begging them to just charge the card because he was behind schedule and he needed to leave my property right away. (-1STAR, again want to deduct more but I'll be more than fair)

I asked him to look at the leaky faucet again, which has been leaking ever since he left the last time. And AGAIN, it wasn't leaking. He said there was nothing he could do. I explained that it has been leaking for a long time, and it constantly leaks when he isn't here. He said ""I believe you"", but the warranty is really strict and if I don't see it leaking I can't do anything. I told him I took a video because I didn't think he believed me the last time. He asked to see the video, and still said there was nothing he could do. (no STAR action because I'm not exactly sure if he doesn't want to do anything because he is behind schedule or if he can't because of the warranty)

He told me I would have hot water in 30-45 minutes, and brought me the paperwork to sign. I asked if there was any way I could get an itemized account of my out of pocket costs. He danced around and tried to explain that I have to get that from my warranty provider. We went back and forth on this, and I explained how I thought it seemed shady for a business to provide a service and not itemize the costs. He said again and again that I have to ask the warranty provider, and seemed extremely anxious to leave. I asked if I was paying them directly for the entire costs if there would be an itemized list of costs, and he said yes. So, I still don't understand how they could not provide me with the itemized costs. (-1STAR)

I called my warranty provider, and they said they would mail me a hard copy of the itemized costs, and he would contact the contracting company to request they send the itemized costs to me via email (which is exactly what they said they couldn't do and only the warranty provider could do???.. smh). He was unable to reach anyone in their office, so I'm awaiting a reply. (-1STAR)

The warranty folks also reopened the leaky faucet order, since it was closed and appeared like it had been fixed on the order. I was assured by the warranty rep that the faucet will be fixed. (-1STAR)

I'm so nice, I'll still give 1 STAR because I'm just happy to finally have hot water (and YELP won't allow negative stars) 11/25-12/11.. yikes!

Worst experience I've ever had with a trade. Communication was not there at all. Was booked by our home warranty company with US Plumbing. Tech was scheduled for an arrival from 10-12 based on a text message from the night before. By the time it was 1PM I attempted to call the office and leave a message for a return to ask about status, I understand how things can get backed up so I wanted to give them the benefit of a doubt and give some time for holdups etc. Mind you, I also took time off of work to have the issue resolved. I left a message and waited another half an hour before calling in again to leave another message. By 3pm I hadn't received a call back so I called in again only to be met with a flustered receptionist who simply told me that the tech had an issue and would be calling me. Waited another 40 mins and still nothing. Had to call a 5th time to get the techs number and speak directly with them. At this point he mentions that his vehicle broke down and will need to postpone the appointment til later in the evening. Being as I already had gone this far and just wanted my issue resolved , I obliged and agreed to a later start. Even with the postponed time at 6:30pm, he didn't show up til 8:30! He started replacing the component that he thought it was even though I had gone through the troubleshooting process and told him that it was the wrong component he was working on. He tried for an hour or so to fix it but as I thought, was unable to do so because, like I said, it was the wrong component. He went on to blame the way the water heater was installed and mentioned that he would need to just ""do the whole thing over"" and replace the entire water heater and plumbing rather than just replace the $135 dollar (with shipping) control valve. The tech just shrugged and said that I would have a nightmare to deal with with the warranty company and walked away. I had to chase them down the next day and ask the tech to phone into the warranty company with his ""assessment"" which didn't occur til, you guessed it, 6PM and lo and behold, they wanted $1300 to fix the piece. Absolute extortion at its best. Don't work with these folks. They will not call you back and they will not provide you with honest, prompt and professional service. Was totally surprised to see that they even had 3 stars on here by our experience.
