Almost 4 years ago a leak was found behind the wall of my shower at my apartment in Coral Gables (Gables Waterway Towers). I chose to use this company as they came highly recommended by building maintenance / management. Unfortunately, the bill for their work was outrageously high but I had no choice but to pay it. Well, just this past week, another leak was found right in the same area (same pipe even) this company had previously repaired. This company was again called by building maintenance, but this time I asked for an estimate prior to any work being done. The response i received was between $750 and $800, almost identical to the previous amount charged for several hours of work. Since I am presently retired and now have the time, I asked a different and also highly recommended plumber to provide an estimate. No surprise, the estimate came in at less than half, basically a 50% discount. Needless to say I chose the latter plumber/company and all work has been completed to everyone's satisfaction, including building management. Actually, the bill was $275 but I chose to give the plumber a $100 tip. In conclusion, if you want what I now consider to be a questionable repair at an exorbitant fee, then U.S. Contracting & Plumbing Services is the company for you. Otherwise, find another reputable plumber and save yourself quite a bit of money or spend the difference on something you've been meaning to buy, or donate it to charity even. Good luck!

the technicians are very nice, but I voice the comments from Carlos G. the price they charge for their services is just ridiculous. To stay less than 5 mins at my place and change parts that cost less than 20 bucks, they have charged me 125. I don t make this money in 1 hour and this company charges that for their workers job that I am sure makes a very small fraction of what they charge us. NEVER USE THEIR SERVICE.
