They have helped fix outdoor faucet leaks, indoor plumbing leaks and securing of our water heater expansion tank. Always reliable, reasonably priced, and prompt with excellent communication!

Any reader probably should not expect this every time, but my first indication that working with Tyree would be great is that Stacie picked up the phone after hours when I made first contact with them. I had a small clog issue, but was just done dealing with one of their competitors on one of our properties. I have reviewed that plumber separately. I am not the average homeowner. I have rental properties across the state, but am a small operator. I only say that to help anyone reading this review to take it serious.

As stated, Stacie answered promptly and spent a lot of time establishing a communicative relationship that assured me of their capabilities. It was a busy season for them, but she got us in the next day. She went through a general price list and partnered with me to know what to expect.

I had been told that Tyree was expensive, but was the best. With that I was still expecting a big bill after their visit. The next day Luke and Brian arrived. They quickly cleared a clog that another plumber had tried to use to exorbitantly upsell me on a tear out job. They only charged the minimum and gave me pointers on keeping that section clear.

I will say that this was a small job. I cannot rate them on a big project. Still, I know for a fact that even some of the large new work plumbers use Tyree for some complicated issues. For me, they did exactly what they said they would, and did it with the customer in mind. I will sing Tyree's praises and will not hesitate to call them again. OH!!! and they were NOT expensive at all. Cheap work on the other hand, especially where they try to upsell you, IS expensive.

I feel like I could recommend Tyree to a customer with less construction experience than I, or to an older more trusting member of our community.

Had an issue with a sewage smell in one of our bathrooms. The scheduler was extremely nice and the guys were able to come quicker than I would have expected. They did quality/fast work and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

FIND ANOTHER PLUMBER OTHER THAN THESE GUYS! Recently, my water heater pilot light went out and I could not get it lit. I called Tyree Plumbing as they were recommended by a few people on the Lynchburg Rec Page on Facebook. They came out, and did not check anything. The pilot lit, and they left left charging me $95. (It took them longer to write up my bill then the time they were in my home, (TO LIGHT MY PILOT!) I guess they had to use up the time to be able to charge me for being there? Then they tell me that on top of their $63 service fee just to drive to my home, there is a MINIMUM charge of $85 and they were ""giving me a break"" . While I was told about the service fee when I called, I was not told about the minimum. What I WAS told is that I would be billed for time they were here and any parts. So even if you have a simple fix, expect for them to probably take an hour to justify the charge. That seems to be the way they operate? I had to go out to THEM and just wrote them a check. (because there is a 3% charge for credit cards). Didn't even get a receipt as I didn't see the point of getting a receipt for a pilot light being lit. So all this happened on Thursday

Sunday my pilot was out again. So I called on Monday and was told they would call back. They did. I was told then that the plumbers ""didn't see anything wrong, and because it lit right away I should check with the gas company and they would come out for free"". Meanwhile after telling several people about this they immediately said it sounded like a coupling ( think that is the word). So when I called on Monday I mentioned this and told the receptionist they had not even looked or checked that, and was given the answer to call the gas company, they didn't think that was the issue. So, I lit it again.

Today, (Tuesday it was out again, so I called the gas company). They came out and everything is fine in my lines - Of course it is, there is no smell of gas and my heater is working fine. They said it was probably the coupling. So now I am out $95 and still have a problem which could have been fixed. I have a home warranty, so had anything been wrong with it, (which clearly there is) they would have covered it. with only a $50 deductible). Now I will call out someone else to come fix the issue, as I trust these guys about as far as a can throw a piano. As far as I am concerned that was a $95 investment lesson in who NOT to use. My home is a 1916 home which is going to undergo big renovations over the course of the next year or so and plumbing and electric are one of them. I can cross them off the list and keep looking! Gave them two stars instead of just 1 because they showed up the same day and on time.

Also of note: They have not ""claimed"" this Yelp page yet have an icon and a link to it on their HOME PAGE of their website! Why don't they claim it? You don't mind linking to it.

We had our kitchen faucet break and some lines linking under the kitchen sink. I called Tyree Plumbing and they responded very quickly! Brian and Logan were very professional and efficient. They came up with a great plan, fixed the problem and cleaned they area after they were done. Thank you so much!

Observed Tyree Plumbing dumping a large amount of trash bags and other plumbing waste at the trash bins of the Fountain Gate townhomes at 2004 Wards Ferry Rd. from their Tyree Plumbing truck the morning of 4/12/20. I thought perhaps they lived here, but they were looking around nervously while unloading their haul and then they drove away. No wonder the trash bins are always so full. Not ok.

Came out, told us they didn't know what was wrong, couldn't fix it, then sent us a bill for almost $200.

These people are terrible. Prices are not comproble and the guy they sent out for a quote, Chase, acted like it was a huge inconvenience for him to do any work. He made several inappropriate comments about women and was crude. Being a student at Liberty, I felt he was treating me rudely and without proper courtesy. When I called to complain they lady who answered was somewhat apologetic, but still seemed to be too apathetic to care. I went with Allied Plumbing instead. They were great, fairly priced, and courteous. I feel like they valued my business.

I have called Tyree Plumbing numerous times to fix various plumbing issues at my business and every time they arrive, they are professional and fix the issue quickly. Many of my calls have been issues that need to be fixed same day and they always manage to send someone out quickly. I highly recommend them!
