We recently purchased a home that had a septic letter from Twins Plumbing and Septic. We have had water and flooding issues in our yard since we moved in. I understand that it is the wet season and we've experienced more rain and water than our yard can handle. I also understand that because of this our leach field is saturated as well. When we started digging up the landscape drain in our yard in an effort to fix it and move standing water away from the area, we encounter the septic tank. Upon seeing water coming UP from the lid of the septic tank, we discovered that Twins Plumbing and Septic has not seared the lid properly and there was gravel in between the lid and the tank. I also completely understand that the lid does not 'seal' to the tank and will allow water to flow upward when the tank is full and there is back pressure on the drain lines. But by not clearing the tank ledge of debris/gravel before re seating the lid from the July 2019 pumping, Twins had allowed ground water and dirt to flow into our tank further exacerbating the issue. We called them on Monday 2/10/20 and they were out before their scheduled arrival time on 2/11/20. After being told that it was useless to pump the tank by the field guys; that it would just refill; that ground water was causing the issue; and that septic tank lids leak; and speaking to the very rude office guy, I sent them away rather than spend my money with them since they were useless anyway! If the lid were seated properly without debris in between the lid and tank ledge, I believe the issue wouldn't be as bad as it is now. I will be calling another company to pump and re seat the lid correctly as it seems Twins cannot do their jobs correctly and do not want to work or want repeat business.

I called Twins about 2 months ago after the recommendation from my uncle as well as some friends. We were selling a home and one stipulation in the contract was that they buyer wanted to septic tank pumped. I called Landon around 5pm, and he had Jeff and another guy there the very next day at 2pm. The price was exactly what I was quoted on the phone, and the guys did a great job recovering where they had to dig. Fast forward to yesterday, the toilets in my newly constructed home were bubbling and the shower wouldn't drain properly. I called at 9am, and Jeff came the same afternoon and found the problem and fixed it. They are fast, friendly, and honest - I would recommend these guys to anyone! And I will use them for any future problems I have as well.

I had purchased home 3.5 years prior and did not know if and when previous owners had the system pumped. Made an appointment with Twins Septic. I hired them partly because they claimed to be Veteran owned. I informed them I was a Veteran as well and retired. I was offered a 5% veteran discount . They were to come over to pump out septic system as a preventative measure for $275.00 or so I thought. The 2 man crew came earlier than expected which was a pleasant surprise. The crew found the tank and started digging. The ground was dry as heck due to the drought and I suggested that I get some water and pour it over the hole to loosen the dirt. They said they didn't need to. They found the cement lid and started clearing the dirt from the lid. THEY THEN ASKED IF I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THEM PROVIDE A SEPTIC TANK RISER AND LID TO REPLACE THE CEMENT LID FOR AN ADDITIONAL $250.00. I TOLD THEM I WOULD HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT. Then they started to use a heavy metal bar and started beating the cement lid. I again suggested that I get some water to pour over the lid thinking it would help loosen the lid. They again said they didn't need to and started beating the lid with a sledge hammer. At this point I went into my home.(BIG MISTAKE). A few minutes later, a knock came on the door and it was one of the crew. He said I have some good news and bad news. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THE SEPIC TANK WAS IN GOOD SHAPE, THE BAD NEWS IS THAT THE CEMENT LID HAD CRACKED IN HALF. I questioned how and why the lid broke. He said it was old and had been previously cracked. I questioned that, especially after seeing them beating the cement lid with a large steel bar and sledge hammer. I was noticeably upset because my only option now was that I had to purchase a new riser and lid for an additional $250.00. I complained and questioned the reason for lid being broken, especially since I had no choice in the matter other than to purchase a riser and lid. I asked if there was anything they could do to help with the cost. They said there was nothing they could do. I requested that I be able to speak with the owner and they gave me the office number. I called and spoke to Landon and explained the situation from my perspective, about how the use of a steel bar and sledge hammer had caused the cement lid to break in half right at the handle. He refused to take any responsibility and said that his crew had misquoted the cost of the riser and lid anyway and they should have charged $300.00 instead of $250.00. He suggested that he not charge my credit card and hold charging the card for a month. I don't believe that this was a coincidence in that the cement lid was broken already. I do believe the constant pounding with the steel bar and sledge hammer caused the cement lid to break in half and that Twins Septic and Plumbing should have taken responsibility or at least partial responsibility for the incident and provided some fair adjustment other than the 5% Veteran discount I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND TWINS PLUMBING AND SEPTIC AGAIN.

Great job Jeffrey! We had a stopped up kitchen sink. Came within the hour replaced sink, facet, and plumbing under the sink. Cleaned the drain line quickly. Very professional, fast and friendly. Cost was very reasonable!

I called at 8 am to have my septic tank pumped. I was told there was another customer ahead of me and they could probably get to me by 11. At 10:45 the technician called to say he was on his way. They got here exactly when they said they would. The young men who pumped my tank were professional and courteous. They ended up having to snake my lines for a long time and they stayed at it until the clog was removed and my system was flowing properly. They explained the additional cost before they did the added work so I knew what to expect. I was very satisfied with their work and am very thankful my system is running properly again. I will use Twins Plumbing & Septic in the future.

We had never had our septic serviced after buying our home in 2010, and I don't know that it was ever pumped prior to our moving in -- so we decided it was high time to get it pumped. I contacted Twins along with 2 other local companies. Twin's pricing was in the middle, they had great reviews here on Yelp, and they were prompt in their response to my inquiries. We got the service scheduled that same week at 11 a.m. and the guys called me shortly before that time, to confirm they were on their way. Upon arrival, I told them I had no clue where our septic was located (who knows these things?) so they quickly went to work finding it. Turns out it's close to my house, near our HVAC units and so they told me they had put a call out (""""call before you dig!""""). Once the lines were flagged, they told me to call back to reschedule. After the power and gas lines were flagged, I called and was able to reschedule for that same week. They charged us an additional $50 to clear cut the underbrush and tree branches that were in the way on the side of our property (totally reasonable price!). [Note: The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because whatever they used for the clear-cutting also left big track marks in my yard across the grass in the backyard. My yard is by no means pristine so it wasn't a huge deal - and my yard is not the easiest to work with because our house is built into a hill. But if I had really nice grass or sod, I would not have been happy with the track marks their machinery left behind.] Ultimately, all went great and they took care of our system. Will be using them again if event of any problems, or for routine maintenance in the future.

They don't service the Atlanta area, but still took the time to respond to our request on Yelp recommending a way we could solve the problem ourselves, rather than calling a plumbing company...and it worked right away. Within 5 minutes, our problem was fixed...for free! I'm so grateful for their help.

We had a great experience with Twin Plumbing and Septic. They have very good customer service and was very detailed in answering our questions. Most importantly, they came out within an hour and serviced or septic tank. They were very, very reasonable with their pricing. Therefore, I'd definitely recommend this service provider.

Used Twin Septic years ago for a Rental property. Professional and honest. That's all you can ask for.

This company is amazing!! They came out to pump the septic tank. They found a tree was growing over the tank access. Rrrrrrrrr. They ripped the tree out for us pumped the tank and fixed a busted water line at a great price and all done in 2 hours! I would NEVER call anyone else!
