Twin Air LLC was founded in 2005 when Joshua and Jeremy Wyant purchased Dean's Enterprises' assets and launched the business as Twin Air LLC. I entered the HVAC/plumbing industry at the age of 15 with the goal of becoming a business owner. Fifteen years later, that dream became a reality when my twin brother Josh and I founded our company, which we named Twin Air.

First time experience with Twin Air. Researched several companies prior...got it down to five and based on research and reviews decided to call Twin Air. Service was scheduled for the next day. Was given an arrival window time. Called when they were en-route from the prior job. On arrival promptly slipped on booties to protect carpet. Very personable technician. Quickly located the cause of air only blowing on the first floor and corrected. Seemed experienced and knowledgeable. Educated me on the coolant being use was being phased out in two years for environmental reasons and how the cost had skyrocketed. Answered my questions concerning eventual system replacement in the future...approximate costs, etc., and refreshingly advised to do my homework but not to replace as long as it was working. Indicated all was currently good and never tried to sell anything not needed. Based on this experience I decided without any prompting to request a maintenance agreement - which I never expected to do after my experience with one with another company. Thanks for the good service.
Denny M.I finally found a quality HVAC place. I have used these guys three or four times now and love how quick and professional they are. These are very good people and a family-run business.
On-time, pleasant and professional. The tech explained the available options and accepted my choice without being pushy. Agreed to maintenance contract and look forward to additional visits going as smoothly as this one!
Sioux L.They put in my tankless a few years ago and I gave them 5 stars. When I called today the receptionist couldn't find my name and apparently did not want my business. Oh well...
Amy W.I have used Twin Air for a few years now for regular spring and fall maintenance of my AC and gas furnace units. They can also do plumbing work for the bathroom. The guys that come out have always arrived on time and are professional and knowledgeable. I like that they have an answering service on the weekends and evenings too to help answer questions. Would highly recommend them for your HVAC and plumbing needs.
Stephanie B.Twin Air came as a recommendation from our realtor when we moved into our home in 2014. It's really hard to work with maintenance companies without feeling like you're getting taking advantage of. I have never felt like this with Twin Air. After using a company for 3 years, you'd think they would have pushed some kind of product/service/upgrade since becoming customers; not these guys. They are professional and have even gotten to know our family. Can't say enough great things about them!
Josh was recommended to me as ""honest,"" but I was very skeptical. since I'd been scammed by a HVAC tech in the past & it's an area I (and most) know very little about.
I wouldn't write a review for one well done repair. But for over a year, Josh has done an amazing job performing quality repairs between our two properties. He's consistently honest & professional. The prices were fair, especially considering it was done right the first time.
I highly recommend Twin Air to any skeptical homeowners who've yet to find a trustworthy company. Also, Jennifer at the main office was excellent at scheduling and handling all my questions & communications.
I just had to prioritize taking the time to write a review for Twin Air after numerous positive experiences with this team and my experience today where they bailed me out of a potential disaster.
Twin Air was recommended to me last year and I started with having them come look at my HVAC system as part of their Preventative Maintenance Agreement. I have always found the HVAC system to be overly intimidating and since it is getting up there in age I wanted to start giving it some attention and after a couple issues with the drain pipe freezing and dealing with water damage, I knew I needed some expertise than random person here or there.
Jonathan came out and checked everything, recommended a few things to replace like capacitors and explained in detail why he was recommending it and what my risk was. This immediately impressed me! I explained to him my worry about the issues I had with the sensor not killing the unit and he relayed the information to Jeremy and I received a follow up email from Aaron the following day with pricing for each option!
I called Jennifer to schedule (i decided on both options for redundancy) however my schedule was tight as I was trying to get all work done at a rental property before the new tenants moved in. Jennifer went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule and John and Henry show up this time! They complete the work, test everything and make sure each of the newly installed items appropriately kill the unit and demonstrate how everything works. I now have confidence in my HVAC system that it is being monitored by people that know what they're doing.
It is time for my fall maintenance under the support contract and John shows up again - and he remembers me. He checks everything again, I mention how i'm not really happy with the thermostat as there have been some issues but the older home doesn't have a cwire for a nice fancy new one and he gives me other ideas to think about for thermostats that have ""wireless"" communication back and can be moved from floor to floor. I like how he gives me ideas to think about and consider but at no point do I ever feel like I am talking to sales person!
Now we come to my urgent situation this morning. I wake up to a phone call from the tenant saying there is standing water in the carpet on the first floor outside of the closet with the water heater. This would of course be the other item in the house I find slightly intimidating to deal with so I give twinair a call first thing this morning in need of help. I leave a message with their after hours team which was also extremely polite and asked if I wanted someone paged. I said no, just relay the message when the office opens. Jennifer calls to confirm my issue and ask if I will be around today for someone to come out. I let her know I was currently on my way to the property and I don't know what is going on but i'm nervous so if someone can help soon i'd appreciate it. She says she will check the schedule and call me back. I get a call back and she lets me know Jeremy is on his way to the property!
Jeremy shows up, looks at the water heater, immediately identifies and confirms it is the culprit, lets me know it needs to be replaced. I think oh crap, how long is this going to take. He says no problem, it will be done right away... he will call someone and have them bring the new water heater! He makes a couple calls and proceeds to start draining the existing tank, turning off the water, the breaker, disconnecting the electrical and all the pipes. I begin researching water extraction and restoration options and he mentions they recommend tri state. I proceed to look up their number and he asks if I would like him to make the call! He calls them for me, explains the problem and what is needed. In the meantime i'm asking a couple questions and we identify that I don't have a frost free hose bib in the rear and the pipe is angled the wrong way -- another item for the to do list but again, just information and no pushy sales talk.
New water heater arrives and guess who brought it? Jonathan! and he remembers me from before and even another house he was at months ago that was a friend of mine and the specific issue. Jeremy explains in detail so I understand how the new water heater is going to sit in a pan, the pan will point into the drain, it will have an expansion tank on top and why it needs the expansion tank... etc. I also ask for an audible alarm to sense water in the pan, and he makes sure that is handled too. I got the sense the alarm wasn't really needed but he didn't care, I asked and he made it happen. Just as twinair was wrapping up the water restoration folks arrived that Jeremy had called so they got to the site lightning fast and that experience was positive as well.
Bottom Line - Highly Recommend and have to everyone i know!
Katie P.I would very easily and comfortably recommend Twin Air to family and friends. We purchased a home that needed a new heat pump system and received three quotes; Tollie at Twin Air was by far the most knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to explain all of our options, made helpful recommendations, and answered my many follow up questions. They did reschedule once, but asked first if that was okay with us since they had a few emergency calls and we didn't mind since our system was currently operating (just not very well).
Installation day went smoothly. Zero complaints. Can't think of any suggestions on how they may improve.
Wes M.In the often challenging space of plumbing/HVAC repair, Twin Air has become like a ""friend of the family"". About 2 yrs ago, we were told our entire water heater assembly - from soup to nuts - required replacement. $2,600. We called Twin Air as part of our ""second opinion"" efforts. Turned out what we needed was a simple boiler valve replacement at $140. We became customers for life. Where they forewent $2,400 at the first engagement, they've gained our business for as long as we're in Western Fairfax.
Just had one of their representatives out to recharge our coolant in our AC Unit after diagnosing a simple non-fault leak. All business, no funny stuff, priced as quoted.
It's tough to exaggerate the benefits of having confidence that the plumbing/HVAC issue you need solved is going to be completed correctly and fairly. Like I said, it's like calling a friend of the family. These guys are the best.
