Tweedy Plumbing was quick to reply to an emergency pipe break. They were professional and timely. They drove to several locations to locate a special part for me at no charge. After a minor incident in accidentally damaging something, they promptly replaced it taking on any associated cost.They are true professionals and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a plumber.

Tech arrived quickly, wearing a mask and solved my first plumbing issue within first 5 minutes. The second issue was a bit more complicated (from my perspective) but Michael the tech, listened to me, then clearly explained my options for repair. The landlord will make final decision but they were so professional we will call Tweedy to do the job.

Can i just start with HONEST! I had 2 companies come out for my shower leak. The first one told me i needed an insurance claim because the entire bathroom would need to be pulled out and part of the kitchen. Tweedy came and checked it out, said i need a new shower pan and repair the crack in the tile, and explained how, where and why the shower is leaking. Gave me the name of a tile & shower guy and i paid them a service fee. They could have told me how much work they needed to do because they do both plumbing and restoration but instead told the truth. Honesty & integrity not something you come by too often anymore so thanks tweedy for yours.

These are the most wonderful plumbers that we have ever had!! I cannot give them enough stars. We had our gas turned off due to a leak and had over seven different plumbing companies give us their opinion and estimate on what we needed to have done. Tweedy was the ONLY company that suggested a simple and effective ""fix"" which would be very cost effective. They explained thoroughly and let us know that if this didn't work, they would have to do a much more complicated invasive procedure. They also had a very reputable and reliable stone contractor as an associate who came and did the stone removal and replacement. All done very very quickly, effectively, efficiently and best of all THE LOWEST PRICE OF ALL!! Brett (one of the owners) was extremely polite, clean, neat and respectful, as was his assistant. We are now having him install a new hot water heater and do some other miscellaneous plumbing in the house. The only sad thing was that my next door neighbor, who is a constant problem with anyone I have working on my home, came out and demanded that the ""helper"" get off of her property and he was simply one foot onto her front sidewalk getting a bit of shade during the construction. But, we don't ever let people like that bother us! SO do yourself a favor and call Tweedy when and if you have any plumbing needs.\

One minute they are working like charm and the next moment nothing is right
Water heaters are no exception to this roulette wheel rule
Where yesterday the shower and bath were hot and pleasing today without warning a chilly cool
Fortunately when in plumbing services you become needy
Down the street is a great plumbing firm by the name of Tweedy
A quick call and same day service with a two hour window was set
Comfort knowing they would solve the problem so a hot bath by end of day would be a safe bet
Text alert call of 8 minutes heads up to be followed by a shining Red Tweedy van truck
Plumber in CV mask, wearing Tweedy tartan polo shirt to see if only a clogged pilot would be by luck
Not the case and my 10 year old had heated its last water drop
Explained clearly what had to be done with price that seemed fair and then back to the water heater shop
My water heater was 18"" of diameter in 19"" of cramped space
Skills of a Houdini needed to remove and then replace the new one in place
Job done quickly and work space tidy clean
Old one taken away and the new one more energy efficient green
I would recommend Tweedy without hesitation for any plumbing needs
Not just because they are close, I'm half Scot but that they will your expectations exceed

We never had anyone come out from Tweedy as their phone person is so incredibly rude, it was actually hostile. Not sure why. All the call involved was my covering the issue we were having with a prior rough-in and scratch job done by our GC. It is unclear if the work has been done wrong- in not one but all three of our showers no less.

I said that I'd like have someone come out to make their own assessment before I get too detailed in what may or may not be a problem. ""I don't wish to cloud or bias the matter.""

Unclear why but I received this terse response, ""Don't take this personal, but we don't care what you think. We will look at it and figure it out ourselves.""

Huh? What was that for?

I shrugged it off by just saying, ""Well, I'm glad you said it's not personal."" To which, I got yet another unpleasant remark, ""Yeah, I'm just keeping it real.""

Gotcha Channing. I like to keep things real myself, ergo the Yelp review.
