One minute they are working like charm and the next moment nothing is right
Water heaters are no exception to this roulette wheel rule
Where yesterday the shower and bath were hot and pleasing today without warning a chilly cool
Fortunately when in plumbing services you become needy
Down the street is a great plumbing firm by the name of Tweedy
A quick call and same day service with a two hour window was set
Comfort knowing they would solve the problem so a hot bath by end of day would be a safe bet
Text alert call of 8 minutes heads up to be followed by a shining Red Tweedy van truck
Plumber in CV mask, wearing Tweedy tartan polo shirt to see if only a clogged pilot would be by luck
Not the case and my 10 year old had heated its last water drop
Explained clearly what had to be done with price that seemed fair and then back to the water heater shop
My water heater was 18"" of diameter in 19"" of cramped space
Skills of a Houdini needed to remove and then replace the new one in place
Job done quickly and work space tidy clean
Old one taken away and the new one more energy efficient green
I would recommend Tweedy without hesitation for any plumbing needs
Not just because they are close, I'm half Scot but that they will your expectations exceed

We never had anyone come out from Tweedy as their phone person is so incredibly rude, it was actually hostile. Not sure why. All the call involved was my covering the issue we were having with a prior rough-in and scratch job done by our GC. It is unclear if the work has been done wrong- in not one but all three of our showers no less.

I said that I'd like have someone come out to make their own assessment before I get too detailed in what may or may not be a problem. ""I don't wish to cloud or bias the matter.""

Unclear why but I received this terse response, ""Don't take this personal, but we don't care what you think. We will look at it and figure it out ourselves.""

Huh? What was that for?

I shrugged it off by just saying, ""Well, I'm glad you said it's not personal."" To which, I got yet another unpleasant remark, ""Yeah, I'm just keeping it real.""

Gotcha Channing. I like to keep things real myself, ergo the Yelp review.

Tweedy was beyond a joy to work with on a same day visit request in the state streets of Costa Mesa. They provided me a narrow window to arrive over the phone, sent an advance notice text and the team showed up shortly thereafter. They advised on a minor emergency, multiple maintenance requests and let us know what we DID NOT need to do, thus us saving money and hassle. I look forward to calling them in the future, hopefully not for another emergency!

We are huge Tweedy fans! These guys are pro, honest, and seem to do their best to save you money. We worked with Brent today, who solved our washer-to-mainline problem quickly and for much less that we expected to pay. If I could give six stars, I would!

Waste of money on Service that wasn't even needed to get done and on top of that the caulking they made around the kitchen sink area didn't last at all. But times they came out they didn't even check nor confirmed there wasn't a leak anymore. Just got up and left . Very expensive and not worth it to.me. Their quick to respond if ur in the area though..same day ...within hours service. That's the only good thing. Now if they could improvise their service by 75% at least LOL...
