This company is a total rip off. They quoted me one price and tripled it once they completed the service. They charged me $700 to fix a loose wire on a transformer. I would never use them again. Their service was also horrible.

I was a customer of Turnabout for 20 years. I am very disappointed in their service. I had them snake a shower drain in late November 2016. It cost $275 and the guy was there for 15 minutes. Within 2 1/2 months, the drain was running slow again and backing up. When I called them, they told me there was nothing they could do. I told them of my long standing customer relationship and they should stand by their work. They said that they didn't have anyone to do that work and they couldn't help me. VERY DISAPPOINTED. This is not the Turnabout I remember!!

This company is HORRIBLE. I called Turnabout when our toilet tank wasn't getting filled up because of a frozen pipe and the guys from AWS showed up. The problem was easy to diagnose (I even suspected it), and they changed the valve and told us to put a heater in the room to fix the problem. The pipes are in the exterior wall and could not be reached. Despite the heater being on all day, the problem wasn't fixed. The guys would not leave until we paid close to 400 DOLLARS. FOR WHAT? To fix the fill valve and diagnose a problem we already knew about? When I called the service manager Bobby to complain he said that that's standard pricing for them. He said they charge $300 an hour and since the guys stayed for close to 1.5 hours (doing nothing basically), they charge the amount they did. We have used Turnabout six months ago and it was solid, but the new management isn't nearly as competent or customer friendly. Their prices are ridiculously high. Now, they don't bill anymore and demand that you pay right away. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

I have used Turnabout for about 30years and have always like them. They have sold and the new owners(AWS) have a very different price range. I wanted 2 bathtubs and a bathroom sink snaked, they were draining slow.They wanted to charge me $1100 cash. Then when we said no way the serviceman wanted $159.00 for the estimate. Called another local plumber and the job cost $175. Beware of their prices unless your a millionaire!!!!
When you call Turnabout an AWS will show up so beware that's who had the new rate.

These people are amazing. After another company cracked the sewer line in the basement while cleaning it, Turnabout came right over and patched the pipe until they could come back to replace the pipe. Their work is superb and their workers are hard working professionals who know exactly what they are doing even in very difficult and tricky situations. This is no surprise as we have used them before when we had another leak years ago that a local plumber I found in the phone book attempted to fix but then walked off the job, never to return after we had paid him $500.
My neighbors have also used Turnabout and they have never had anything but praise for this company. Joe is either an owner or the manager and is also a pleasure to deal with. This is like having a doctor, dentist or auto mechanic that you trust. It makes life that much easier.

We had a very unpleasant experience with Turnabout Plumbing & Heating. With our initial referral from American Water Resources, your receptionist was very rude and abrupt. When the work had to be redone, the serviceman did the repairs without giving an estimate or getting approval for the cost. We later received a large bill for work we thought we had paid for the first time they came to do the repair. When I called to discuss the bill, I was threatened with a lien on my house if I did not pay may bill. As the person did not care that I was going to post this on YELP, here it is

called them to clear out my outside drain, explained that it was not an emergency. they came, cleared it and then charged me $350. for the service because they came the same day I called. I was outraged at the price for a half hours work and will never use them again. Don't make my mistake, ask the price before the work is done
