Our hot water heater stopped working Saturday morning.

I looked at the plumbers recommended on our local neighborhood association and tons of people spoke up to mention Dennis and Turbo Plumbing and what great service they'd had from him so that was who I called.

Dennis called right back and fit us in between other jobs to check it out. He gave me lots of fantastic info about what had gone wrong with our ancient hot water heater (not fixable), and answered lots of questions about options we'd been thinking about (gas or electric, tankless vs. tank water heater, why a tank water heater of the same size as ours, but new, would allow for more showers than we had been getting, the differences between the tanks he sells/installs and the ones we would find at a hardware store, etc.). After he left he was very generous with his time on the phone, answering our questions about the water heater he was recommending vs. what he could get at 1pm on a Saturday to install the same day, etc.

He never charged for the visit or his time and he gave me lots of great info to think about.

That afternoon a friend heard of our plight and offered an old (but working) tank water heater sitting in their garage. I was able to pick it up and install it the next day. It isn't ideal as there is real plumbing work that we should have done (the shutoff valve to the water inlet isn't working, etc.) but it will buy us time to figure out if we want to have Dennis do a proper job and install a high quality tank heater or if we want to go to the time and expense of having a tankless water heater installed.

Thanks ever so much, Dennis. You've got my thumbs up and I'd recommend you without hesitation based both on our neighbor's experience and my own experience.

Dennis lived up to his reputation. Called regarding a clogged toilet, his answering lady had him call back, he was here in 30 minutes. Was fair priced and very effective.

Dennis is very patient and thorough on fixing the problem. When the problem comes back after 1 month, he's super nice to fix it again free of charge. There is no doubt that I will call him if I need his help again.

This is the 3rd situation that Turbo Plumbing has had to bail me out; he's probably snaked all of the major pipes/drains in my house ... laundry, kitchen and bathrooms and each time he's been timely (returning calls/arriving as promised), efficient and fair (priced).

No offense, but I hope I don't have to call the plumber again for a long, long time. But if I do, I'll be calling Turbo Plumbing ... Dennis is the man!

I called Dennis late Saturday afternoon. Got the answering lady as well (very kind). Dennis called back about 30 minutes later, got a better description of my plumbing problems and pleasantly surprised that he was still willing to come out, given what time it was.

Like another Yelper mentioned, probably spent more time educating me about how my new home's plumbing worked more than he did spending time on the job.

Dennis will continue to get my repeat business and referrals.

Call these guys. While he was not able to assist me, he certainly was honest and to the point. He asked a number of insightful questions and informed me that he would not be able to assist and directed me to someone who could.

Kudos to honest businessmen who stick to what they know and based on other reviews, do well.

I used Turbo Plumbing due to the reviews on YELP, and you know what? I've been a home owner for nearly 25 years, and this had to be the worst customer service I've ever encountered.

I've never met Dennis. He sent his ""employee"" for my service call. He fixed one thing and made another worse. I called Dennis back to report the situation and asked that HE himself come to fix it, and NOT his employee. Guess who showed up AGAIN?!! And still didn't resolve the problem completely? And this is after an exchange of numerous calls. When I called the day before to confirm the 2nd appointment, Dennis didn't even remember who I was nor the appointment.

I give allowances for mistakes..we're all human...but attitude accounts for everything. I was completely disguised with Dennis' attitude and this experience!

It's Saturday morning.The pilot light on our gas water heater won't stay on, so looked on Yelp for a plumber. Called Turbo and talked to a woman who took my name and phone #. Less than a minute later, Dennis called me back. He spent more than five minutes with me on the phone getting an accurate description of the problem and what I've tried so far. When I mentioned that we bought our house less than a year ago, he suggested that if we have a home warranty plan, we should use it to get this problem fixed. I had even forgotten that we had a home warranty! Dennis also suggested one last thing to try before calling the home warranty people. Wow!! He was extremely courteous and helpful.
So although this rating is based on the phone call alone, I would not hesitate to call on Turbo in the future if I need any plumbing work done (or if the home warranty people don't come through for me).

Just a great experience!

Called Dennis about an ongoing problem for years... a main drain. Dennis called back within 15 minutes and after a short chat, was ready to tackle the job. We knew the drain was blocked, last year our snake barely made it through. Dennis located the cracked portion under the driveway some 40+ feel from the trap and gave us a quote that was by far the best news we've heard in years! Next day he was on it, job done, sidewalk cemented back up and new ""christie"" valve in place! We never had one, got one now though! :) Would recommend Dennis to anyone who wants someone that they can TRUST !
