Mike and his team are some of the most talented plumbing and heating experts on the island.

After moving into our new house 2 years ago (north shore of LI), we recognized we had a very extensive and complicated boiler room (not to mention quite a lot of bathrooms) that was giving us some problems. We had consulted with a few plumbing companies in the area, including some of the bigger ones, and none were really able to grasp the complications of our boiler system. We finally contacted Mike and Matt, and they were able to coherently explain what was going on and what all of the issues were.

When we eventually ran into bigger problems with our wall boilers (a result of the prior owners not taking any care of them for a decade), Tumminello was our choice to revamp the entire boiler room with brand new equipment. They are truly experts at their craft (a lot of the technical aspects go over my head). Mike, Matt and their guys did such a great job and we're super happy with out it turned out. They always showed up on time and didn't leave until the job was done. Our boiler room is now much more efficient and organized and, most importantly, in working order (shoutout to Matt in particular for being a rockstar - he could be a rocket scientist for NASA; he also took the care to make sure everything looked perfect and was super organized).

We've also used Tumminello for non-boiler-related issues (e.g., sink installation, leaks, clogs, etc.) and they've always responded promptly (and fairly). Truly a one-stop shop for all things plumbing and heating.

Do not hesitate to use Tumminello. Very, very highly recommended!

We've used Tumminello Plumbing & Heating twice in the past year. The owner, Mike, stands behind his work and his prices are fair; he never pressured us, nor did he try to increase the scope/cost of the job unnecessarily. His crew did an outstanding job and left my bathroom spotless both during and upon completion of the work. Twenty minutes after the job was finished, we received a phone call from the owner asking if we were satisfied. I would highly recommend using this company for any plumbing need.

Paul came late. Leaking faucet repair. Ran some water in sink, didn't even inspect inside of faucet and told me I should get another faucet and he would install it for some extravagant price. Spent about 15 minutes, mostly talking about himself, and told me the fee for the service call was almost $200. What a rip-off! So much for supporting advertisers in our church bulletin. Dreadful experience.

My toilet was phantom Flushing and two young men came to fix the problem, but it didn't work and they had to come back two more times for a total of $363. The problem still was not fixed. I was told it would be easier to get a new toilet They said they would replace the toilet for free if I went out and bought another toilet. My neighbor agreed that it would be easier to install a new toilet however I paid them $363 to fix the flap and it is not fixed and my toilet is phantom flushing so much that I have to turn the water off in between flushes until I can get it fixed. Also, I went to HD to buy a flapper and when I told the associate I used Tuminello he said,""Oh, I'm so sorry"".

We noticed our Hot Water Heater was not working as well as it should (running out of hot water quickly) and after checking into it, we realized that it was time to replace the 13 year old unit, before it was too late. We contacted Mike & Mark at Tumminello plumbing and heating because of positive reviews on the Nextdoor app from others in my neighborhood. On the phone they clearly explained the pricing and they were able to come out that same afternoon to take a look and finalize what was needed. The were able to do the work the very next day, which in our case was a full water heater replacement and tank upgrade to a larger capacity. The four person team were very professional. Used drop cloths and they were respectful to each other and to me. They not only cleaned up after themselves , but they hauled away the old water heater at no extra charge..They are honest, hardworking and I would definitely re-hire them for future plumbing work.

It's a pleasure to find an honest plumber and I have now found one. They were professional, prompt, honest and reasonable. Mike and Dominic arrived early, diagnosed the situation and resolved the problem in the least expensive way. They didn't try to sell me a more expensive option, but took the time to take the least expensive approach first. They analyzed a different issue, told me to wait to start the repair since the problem was not significant at this time, but told me what to look for and what to expect. They were honest and answered all my questions and were a pleasure to work with. Tumminello Plumbing will now be the plumber I contact for all my plumbing needs and I highly recommend them.

I needed to have my bathroom sink faucet replaced and a friend recommended Tumminello. I called this morning and made an appointment to have the work done this afternoon. Mike and Joe arrived within the time window I was told (with a heads-up call first to let me know they would arrive in a half-hour). The work was done quickly and professionally, and my new faucet looks great. They even cleaned up after they were done, leaving the bathroom as clean as they found it. I would not hesitate to recommend Tumminello Plumbing and will definitely use them in the future when I need plumbing work done. Great job guys!!!
