Is there such a thing as 6 stars? 10?

I had a pretty minor plumbing need - replace the toilet fill valve. However, I don't want to do it, its a pain in my ass to do it myself, and a pain in my water bill to ignore it. It had to get done.

I'm honestly hesitant to write down all the ways Tim catered to me and saved the day for fear of setting an unsustainable precedent. I can't imagine he can possibly maintain a business and consistently be this accommodating, this honest, and this helpful. Its really quite astonishing.

I know, the task at hand was relatively minor, but it was handled and completed with such adeptness and such amazing follow up that I feel confident it was a good indicator of Tim's business as a whole.

I'm a single working woman, I'm not that handy, and I live in a sometimes questionable neighborhood (HP). Some folks have balked at coming to my 'hood for service appointments. Not Tim. He was communicative, on time, efficient, and truthful. He fixed the problem while never speaking down to me and totally respected my home, my space, and my schedule. He explained the process and the solution. His rate was so much more than fair. As a matter of fact, his rate was a full $50 less than the other plumber I called for a quote.

Look: Mediocre assistance is easy to come by. ""Did a fine job"" is easy to find. That's not what you'll get here. If today is any remote example of the kind of worker, the kind of service provider, and the kind of human that Tim is, then the world is a better place. It sounds like I'm exaggerating but I'm not. Tim stepped up to bat and hit it out of the park on his first time at the plate. Do not hesitate. Look no further. Help has arrived.

Tim and TRZ Plumbing are terrific! It's a pleasure to write this review.

Today was the 2nd time Tim worked in my home. Both times the jobs were not straight forward... a little more complicated because of funky work performed by previous contractors. Both times TRZ's work was great, the service and communication were great, and for a VERY fair, if not low, price.

It's so nice to have a knowledgable, reliable plumber you can trust. If you don't, call TRZ and ask for Tim.

Tim to the rescue!!! We had a crazy last minute emergency and Tim came through with flying colors --- amazing! He was referred to me by a great contractor who said the best things about him --- great plumber, really nice guy, does fantastic work --- all true. I called Tim, and he was on his way shortly. He completed the job perfectly and everything is right with the world again.

I was very lucky to have Tim recommended to me for plumbing work. I bought 3 Toto toilets online and needed them installed in my bathrooms. Tim came highly recommended from my neighbor who had numerous jobs completed by him.
After my toilets arrived, I called up Tim and he was able to come out the next Monday and showed up early morning to install my toilets. He was very courteous and got to work right away. Tim and his team quickly had the old toilets removed and the new ones installed. It was great how efficiently they worked together and he cleaned up everything and took away the old toilets. Tim did a fantastic job.

I also happen to have a gas leak somewhere in my line in the kitchen and Tim quickly found the problem and tightened up the fitting.

I would definitely recommend using Tim in the future for any of my plumbing needs. The combination of buying my plumbing materials online and having Tim come out and install everything is perfect.

After a couple of false starts (on the first occasion we waited an hour past the admittedly kind of loose ""after 5"" we had agreed on and then called only to find out he was still about a half hour away and we couldn't wait; the second time he accidentally double booked but for some reason didn't have our phone number to call and cancel), on the third try Tim showed up right on time and did an excellent, clean, and fast job installing a new sink disposal. He's friendly, smart, and obviously very competent. Would definitely hire him again but just make sure he had our phone number this time!

Tim completed a remodel of both our bathrooms about 4 years ago. He also built a small den/office in our garage for us. His work is excellent. He researched everything and provided a fair price to do all the work. He is knowledgeable and friendly. He will take the time to explain everything to you and will not tack on extra things that are not needed.

We continue to call Tim for our ""around the house"" repairs from diagnosing our dryer issues to repairing our bathroom sink and light. We definitely will continue to call Tim for our future construction needs!

From fixing small problems to building out entire kitchens, TRZ can handle every job at a competitive rate.

I have used TRZ twice. Once for a plumbing job in a remodeled bathroom that someone else had to leave half way done. TRZ picked up the pieces and competed the job with much more professionalism than how it started, I think it looks better than it would have too!

The other case was in an emergency. This is the reason I actually made an effort to write this review. My mother lives by herself, its a small place deep in Marin County. I was away for work for more than a few days. My mother calls me complaining that it was cold and that the heater wasn't working. She had already been without heat for two days, old and kinetically incapable of operating on her own she was in trouble. I remembered TRZ and luckily had a number in an email. Without any hesitation, Tim was kind enough to drive an hour out of his way on a Sunday night, spend a couple hours fixing the hot water and heating system, and made sure my mother was OK before leaving. I've written all that you need to know about someone's dedication to a job and simply taking care of people.

I found Tim on Craigslist, and made arrangemts from LA for him to repair a water heater in my house in the Bay Area. He was prompt, friendly and reasonable. While there, he took care of an unplanned drain problem. I would recommend him for plumbing problems, and I would definitely hire him again.
