I had not seen the Yelp reviews prior to making an appointment which I literally did online late Friday for 3PM on Monday. Had I seen some the reviews on Yelp I would not have called them. It was within 30 minutes of Matt's arrival that I saw them and had my mind made up it was not going to go well. Matt spent 3 1/2 hours going over a very involved system and offered several options. ( I've got two furnaces and two condensers and can't get cool air to my second floor) It's a big job and I haven't had a second opinion yet but I was so impressed with Matt that I told him I wouldn't sign with another company without giving him a call. I also spoke with Anthony the owner about
my project and some of the reviews. Bottom line, I don't think my first encounter with them
could have gone better. Zero pressure, I like that and lots of gained knowledge. I feel like going forward I can make an informed decision on the project.

DO NOT use this company!!! Needed garbage disposal replaced with same make and model. Made an appointment before hearing from 2 local plumbers. Local guys would have charged $250, this company won't give price in advance and charged $500! They shouldn't be in business

avoid, huge waist of time and money. They will rip out your bank account to just show up. Hidden fees, false invoices, and will lie right to your face.

you won't know it until it is too late, they will have you sign a blank screen, saying one price, and then send an invoice with complexly different price. Don't get trapped.

AVOID!!! These guys are a complete waste of time. They claimed to be competitive, but came in over double my other bids. What a joke! I asked point blank if they were able to keep costs down when we spoke on the phone and they assured me they were competitive. Not even close - NEXT!

Beware of last minute money grab- good ol' bait and switch.
Everything with Trust 1 was relatively smooth up till the evening before the planned install date.
Trust 1 came and provided me an overview of the work they could do for installing mini split ACs, the equipment they could install and an estimate. After receiving 3 estimates, I selected trust 1 given they were the middle estimate and could install the brand I was suggested to use by family member. For the final price, there was a small negotiation, which I was told was approved by management and received a formal signed contract/ scope of work (happened ahead of loans). I spent a month and a half working with Trust 1 to get loans flowing through mass saves, etc. After the loans were received , we booked an install. I was once again ensured of the work and cost given I was taking out loans.
The evening before the install, I receive a call from Trust 1's owner, Anthony, informing me that they priced the job serval thousands lower than they should of and that I would need to cover that to have the team come out the next day - ""We can't make no money, otherwise we'd have no business"". I was told to just take out more on the loan or find another contractor. I was also told that this has happened with their sales folks on multiple occasions. When I asked who at management signed off on the price earlier, I was told ""it wasn't me"".
I understand that sometimes prices change, especially right now with everything going on, but this call almost seemed planned. To be fair, the owner took $500 off the new lump sum they were asking for, but it still was way too much to justify.

In this world of it is so hard to find Anyone who could do the job right, we were so presently happy with Eric and John Mack from Trust 1 service plumbing. They arrived in a clean new van, wearing clean uniforms with booties to protect our wood floors. Their service to our instant hot water system went smooth and quick. They also replaced our filter. Thanks for the military discount of 5% too. So Wahoooo to Eric and John Mack thanks again.

Garbage Disposal replaced. Charged over $1,140 AFTER the device was installed. When asked upfront what the cost of the device would be, I was told the repairman did not know as it was in his truck. I explained that the device had been replaced 4 years ago and asked the average lifespan of it. I was told 3 years. When I looked it up online, it's 7-8. Company will not send an itemized receipt to show how they got to the $1,140+ price. When I called to speak with the owner, he said it is because ""it costs money to run a business"". This company clearly has no interest in being upfront, honest or provide justification for their egregious pricing. DO NOT USE THEM.

Save yourself money and big headaches, do not hire this company. I called this company to perform a gas pressure test at my property in Cambridge MA, so that I could have the gas turned on because we had been out of the property for long time. The first appointment made was canceled one hours before the end of the scheduled time, because the ""technician"" had to attend a last minute ""training"". My neighbor, who had agreed to let the inspector in, wasted half a day waiting for the ""technician"" because the time range they gave for the inspection was between 1-5 pm.
From my first contact with Tryst1 I made sure to ask if a permit was needed to perform a gas pressure test, the secretary, after checking with the ""manager"" left a message on my cell phone saying that a permit was NOT needed to perform the test. That voice message became crucial later on in the process of recovering the money I paid Trust 1.
A ""technician"" was sent to perform the test a couple of days later, and I was told that the gas pressure was fine, and that I could call the city to turn on the gas.
Upon calling the city, the inspector asked me for the permit number, I told him there was none because the plumbing company had told me a permit wasn't needed. The inspector said they should know better than that, and asked If I had paid, I told him 1200, he suggested I get my money back.
I called the company again and was told that they would get the permit, reinspect the house, and call the inspector that same day for an additional 425, to which I agreed, because I needed to have the gas turned on. They charged my credit card 566, instead of the agreed upon 425. They got the permit, and called the inspector, who performed his own test and said the test failed miserably. I was left with the task of getting another plumber to perform the test again, cancel Trust1's permit and pay additional fees.

I never knew who the plumber was, because every time I called the company I was told that the ""manager"" wasn't there, so, is the manager the plumber? I do not know who conducted the test, but in the end, it doesn't matter, all plumbing work requires a permit in the City of Cambridge. The MA plumbing commission has been notified of Trust 1 Services unprofessional working practices.
