Steve and his company installed a water softener system and reverse osmosis water filtration unit into our home in late fall 2018. I have been meaning to write this review for him ever since then! A neighbor in my community hired True-Tech Water to install their water softener that's how I met Steve, the owner. Steve is extremely helpful and is very knowledgeable about water filtration systems. I always know the water in San Jose is hard but I didn't know the hardness scale was up to 17, until Steve perform a water quality test for us. It's been 2 months now since we installed our water softener from Steve and we are very happy with it. We will definitely recommend Steve as he's always honest and responsive. 4 years ago, Steve installed for us a Hague Water Softener system for our new home. He was very diligent in explaining the ""before"" and ""after"" impact of installing this system, its advantages to other systems, and took the time to take water samples and demonstrate the results.

We decided to install the system and since then, it has been running flawlessly. Recently, we had a small inconvenience with an external hose that is used to purge the system every so often. Steve, even though he is located in San Jose, quickly came to our home in Santa Cruz and replaced with a newer and more flexible hose.

It was great to know that Steve was still servicing our area and the systems, and gives a lot of confidence that our investment long term will hold.

We needed a water softener ASAP. I did my research on various water filters online, including yelp and found Steve with True-Tech Water.

Steve is a great guy who is very knowledgeable about water filtration systems. He was responsive and flexible with scheduling the install. It's been a few weeks since our water system was installed and we already see the benefits. We are now using half the amount of soap and detergent. My hair and skin feel amazing! Our dishes don't have a hard water film anymore. I highly recommend Steve and Tru-tech water if you have hard water pumping through your home, leaving a sandy film on your appliances, dishes, and skin.

We have been a customer of Steve and True-Tech Water for 14 years and two homes. San Jose water was/is seriously hard. The sediments will cake your pots after one or two potful of boiling water.

Our first Hague system was installed in our new construction home in San Jose in 2004. It was installed flawlessly and worked flawlessly for 10 years until we sold the house. Nothing required except adding softener salt and all of our glass shower doors, enclosures, dishes, pots and pans stayed clear. The new owners couldn't believe the glass shower enclosures and doors were originals.

Our second Hague system came in 2015 when we moved to an older home in Los Gatos. Again, very hard water with sediment caking everything. Called Steve and he remembered us after 10 years. :) Again, system install was flawless, but it wasn't functioning properly. Steve came out at least 5-6 times to checked, double-checked and triple-checked and nothing seemed to work. Turned out to be that our plumber ran the line from the water main incorrectly (diagnosed by Steve). Once water line was corrected it works flawlessly for the past 3 years.

We are very happy with both of our Hague systems and especially with Steve. He's a true professional with customers in mind all the time. It is a premium system, but it shows in both the hardware and services that Steve provides. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate as it will deliver on the values. Get Hague and a good plumber.

We wanted to get a new water softener system for the house and did some research on Yelp.

Steve was responsive and set up an appointment within the next few days. Our experience was great from start to finish. Steve explained to us in detail about the San Jose water quality and the Hague water system.

Steve was here on the day of the install to program the system and answer any questions we had. He was also responsive with our follow up questions/concerns. Definitely recommend Steve for your water needs! He's very knowledgeable, personable and provides excellent customer service. You won't regret it :)

I thought I left a review long ago but I must have forgotten! We got our first water softener from Steve in Jan of 2016. Loved it. We recently sold out house and forgot/didn't realize we could take our softener with us. So just yesterday we had Steve come and install another.

I can't recommend them enough. Steve is great, always there to answer questions. Love that he responds to emails.

As for the softener I never had any issues with it. In our last neighborhood several ppl got cheaper ones and in less than 2 years they were failing. This one is more expensive but it's going to last forever. Plus it does more than just soften the water. There's also some filtering that happens.

I recommend Steve to anyone that asks about a softener. Can't go wrong!
