I have the same comments as the others. Promises to do the work and shows up stoned, that is, if he shows up at all. He eventually will not answer phone calls and never returns to finish the mess he made. He does not have experience nor does he know what he is doing. He relies on google videos. He buys items with your credit card and does not use them. He broke many tiles while trying to install them and asked for more money to replace what HE broke. This guy is a ""True Loser"" and I do not know how he can even use the word ""Pride"" as part of his company name.

Tyler Parker (True Pride Property Preservation) is a contractor associated with Home Advisor. I did a quote for plumbing work on Home Advisor and was contacted by Ty 3 days later. He accepted my project with Home Advisor. The quote with Home Advisor was too low and after speaking with Tyler we agreed to a price to have the work done and I cancelled the project through Home Advisor(1st mistake). Tyler was supposed to be at my place at noon and did not show up until after 1 p.m. Tyler called me when he was at Lowes and asked me to Venmo him money to pay for parts. I have never heard of such a thing from a contractor. He was supposed to replace a kitchen sink and faucet. He did not have the proper tools to get the sink out!!!! He did replace 2 shut off valves in the master bath. I asked him if he would be able to install new countertops in the kitchen and he said sure, no problem. I purchased 2 counter tops at Lowes on Friday evening. Tyler said he could pick them up at 9 a.m. on Saturday and would be at my place by 10 a.m. Well 10 a.m. came and went and no reply. Over the next 7 hours I sent multiple texts to Tyler and no reply.
I had to hire a new contractor to finish the project. The person I hired to finish the project had the sink out in 20 minutes. I am fortunate that I am only out 150.00 for work not done. Do no pay 50% down before work is completed. Any legitimate contractor does NOT require payment prior to work being done. My advice is to stay away from True Pride Property Preservation. Sounds like from other YELP reviews he has left many other people high and dry!

It wasn't a question of bad work. The work that he did do was done right. However, he had work to finish up, and on Easter Sunday he said ""see you tomorrow "". We never heard from him until we reached out and asked what time he was coming. He informed us that a family member was in the hospital, and he would get back to us in a few days. A few days passed and we asked if everything was ok. Family member had passed away we were informed. Fast forward to a month and a half later. He had told us multiple times he was coming, and than didn't show up. He has now stopped communicating at all, even after being told we were getting another quote for the other work we wanted him to do, and also finishing the job he started. I paid him for the bathroom he left unfinished. And now I will have to pay someone else to finish it. I'm very disappointed, as I had other jobs for him to do.

True Pride started as a good choice. Ty was very helpful and got us set, but needed more work. We scheduled another day and never heard anything more from Ty. What's disappointing is that we were sure to provide his company more work. Unfortunately, he lost a customer not because of the work, but because of the lack of communication. My only recommendation as Ty continues his business is to take True Pride in communicating and being honest if there is just something that seems difficult for you to fix. Unless that changes, I wouldn't recommend this company.

We had set up three separate occasions for him to come out and run wire for a ceiling fan. All three times, he was a no show...no calls, no notice. Would not recommend unless you have nothing but time on your hands to sit and wait. Each time, I had to contact him only to find out he was coming...lost his phone...traffic due to an accident...no response at all. Not sure how he does any business like this...definitely not a professional!
