My wife and I own rental condos in the North County San Diego Area and have used True Plumbing several times. We upgraded and re-routed our hot water pipes in 2 units and both times the job was done quickly, affordable and with attention to detail. On another occasion the unit above one of our properties sprung a leak and and my first thought was to call True Plumbing. They came out the same day and completed the job quickly and stayed well past ""normal"" work hours since they knew how concerned we were with the situation.

This last time put me over the top though, which is why I'm writing this review. This time the issue was with the garbage disposal in our own home. We would turn it on and it sounded like it was jammed or caught. I looked inside to see if something was caught for a while but couldn't locate anything. Searched YouTube for some advice but nothing seemed to work. Called True Plumbing and Patrick came out the very early the next morning since I needed to be at work by 9am. It turns out my daughter put a penny in there and it was jammed in the far corner and was almost impossible to remove. It took Patrick almost an hour, trying a variety of tools to get this thing out. I have my checkbook and I'm expecting to pay for the service call and labor, but no. Patrick says ""You guys are great customers and I didn't really do any work, so we're happy to do this for you."" I was blown away - not that I needed another reason to keep using True Plumbing but this just further reassured me that I will be giving them any future business I have as well as recommending them to anyone I hear needs plumbing work.

I also feel it's important to add that this company practices old-fashioned, honest business. Not only are their prices fair and the work is flawless, but even little details. It might seem insignificant to most people, but I've noticed that every single time a worker has come to one of our units they wipe their feet on the door mat before entering. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Again, is this an important detail? Maybe not, but if just gives the customer some insight into the business that they practice - thoughtful, thorough, and respectful.

Would give 6 stars if possible!

My mother had passed away in Encinitas and we needed some plumbing done on her house before we sold it. Because I was lived in LA area, I had to depend on YELP to find a good plumber. I was not disappointed. True Plumbing was courteous, fast, reasonably priced and did a great job. I highly recommend them.

True Plumbing just came out to replace my broken water heater and set up a temporary water heater. I called many local plumbers and their prices beat everyone. They were on time, responsive and very helpful. David was the technician who came to my house, and not only did he do a great job in replacing the water heater, but he also adjusted the toilet as well. I would definitely recommend True Plumbing to anyone (and I never write reviews!)

Tony from True Plumbing called to let us know he was on his way, showed up with all the right stuff, explained to me the adjustments on the water heater he installed, and cleaned up at the end. Can't ask for a better experience from a service team!

Tony was great . We got a referral for True Plumbing to do a Tankless Water Heater flush . Emailed for price and they emailed back quickly with price ( none of this call us and let's talk) .
Price was great well below others . So we setup time to do work . On day of work , they called before showing up to confirm. Tony and his co- worker were very nice and the work was done efficiently. We will be using True Plumbing from now on

Dave from True Plumbing was great. He was able to come on short notice. He fixed the problem with an easy fix free of charge and saving me hundreds. Glad I found an honest company I can trust. I will recommend them to all my friends and family for any issues in the future.

I don't have anything bad to say. The reason for the 3 stars is they were not able to repair my 8 year old Rheem EcoSense tankless water heater. I contacted a different service the next day, and they were able to repair my water heater. But the tech True Plumbing sent was very nice, on time, and he did his best. Apparently it's a difficult thing to find someone with knowledge on Rheem tankless heaters. If you have a tankless, find someone else.

A few days ago we realized that the wood floor in our dining room had water damage. We were not entirely sure where the water was coming from as the surface of the wood never appeared wet. To make a long story short, Tony found that all we needed was a quite simple kitchen faucet repair. He then checked walls and baseboard to make sure that there was no other source of water coming into the dining room. He then told me that there would be NO CHARGE since the repair was simple and took little time. I objected and tried to pay him something, since he drove to our place in LaCosta from Carlsbad Village. He insisted that there would be no charge, and said that if I really wanted to pay him I should leave a positive Yelp review. So, Tony, here is your review. Many thanks for helping us out this morning--and for showing us that there are honest people and companies out there. True Plumbing has just become our ""go to"" provider plumbing services.
