The plumber was domineering and outright rude, and his gestures were threatening. He did not respect the boundaries I was attempting to establish when I tried to de-escalate his aggression toward me. His company, whom I did not talk to about his inappropriate behaviors, added a message to my record stating not to do business with me again. I discovered this message when I called to have the plumber's work evaluated due to possible issues I was having regarding his work. The Office Manager stated although she and the others in the office did not work for Trudell when this occurred, I would have to discuss this further with the owners since they already had a conversation with me and made the determination not to do business with me. I responded that I had not talked with the owners and that the phone number she stated was in error. It became apparent the plumber had misrepresented me to the owners, and the owners did not care to investigate what had occurred. I waited a few days to see if the owners would contact me, but since they did not, I decided to review this company with a red flag warning with a comment ""Very Poor Customer Service.""

Stellar service. I have used Trudell for multiple scheduled projects, and they are prompt, professional, and I get exactly what I expect from them. Recently I had a furnace issue (old furnace, not installed by Trudell) and had no heat on a below zero degree day. Trudell was at my house so quickly to fix my heat it was amazing! Can't say enough good things about this company. Trudel is for sure my sole HVAC/plumbing company for any needs I have in the future!

We had to have a sump pump swapped out after the 15 year old one expired. As a retired residential home inspector and appraiser I knew what the approximate cost should be. ($250 to $350)

Since we had lived in Ishpeming for over 25 years we had gotten used to calling the Marquette plumbing and heating business after our Ishpeming plumber retired. In the recent past that business has been purchased by a former employee and the costs of doing a job became suspicious. Their estimate for this job was $802 and we then absolutely knew that they were nothing more than rip-off artists. BTW, that included the mandatory $45 ""service call"" which is another scam.

We made a couple of calls and discussed our need. The Trudell rep talked with my wife and included the fact that we could go to a local store and find what we wanted and they would install it. We caught a sale and got a 1/2 HP for $175. Trudell billed us $100. Total $275...$802 - $275 = $527 SAVED!

The two guys, Roy and Chris (sorry if I have forgotten a name), were respectful of our property and my wife's requests for a mask and shoe covers. Also, they did not waste time, we're careful and efficient and they cleaned up thoroughly afterward.

This was our first time using Trudell P&H. We can recommend them highly.
