I never leave reviews let alone negative reviews but this company compelled me. I would give them -5 if that was an option. I had a clog in my bathtub. The plumber came and I showed him what's going on. I asked him for a quote, he said if they have to run a machine from the roof it will be $430+ but if we don't have to run the machine then it will be $100 to $200. He spent literally 7/8 mins in the crawl space, used a chain snake and removed the clog. He charged me $300. I asked him what was the reason for this bill since that's not what he quoted and is not a comparable rate. He is like this is The charge. He lied on my face that he never said $100 to $200. I tried to talk to him really nicely but he was so so unprofessional in his behavior which honestly made me write the review. He left saying he will send me a bill. Then his dad Troy who is the owner called me after an hour and asked what happened. He said they had used the expensive machine and """"actually charged me less than $430, what's the problem"""", why would you charge me less if that's the rate? Lie after lie. I told him that wasn't the truth, they didn't used the said equipment. Then he spoke to his son and called me back again, saying """"this is the right charge, the rate is $200-$500, and we charge just $150 to even take a look. how do you want to pay"""". This is not a matter of paying $300 in place of $150, this is about how they conduct their business and treat customers and that matters. They are a fraud company.

Had Troy's Plumbing scheduled for a job on a Tuesday. They had to cancel due to installer being sick. I was very understandable. Rescheduled for Thursday and they were no show, no call. After talking with them, they said I'm on their schedule for Friday now. On Friday, no one showed up. After calling the office, they tell me they are on another job and didn't submit our permit in time to have it done per the schedule they gave me. I've had these excuses from them on past work and just thought it was normal for them. If you're a professional business, communicate with your customers. Tory's Plumbing doesn't have what it takes to get jobs started or completed. They've failed. They will waste your time. I was a previous customer and this is how they treated me.

If I could give them a ZERO...I would. I opted for Troy's Plumbing because they were the highest rated on Next Door. I called them on a Thursday and had an appt for the next morning at 9am. I called them at 10am when they hadn't made it out and was told they were on their way because they stopped at another location beforehand. I called them again around noon and left a message with their answering service. Never received a call back. If something comes up and you can't make it, the very least they can do is spend one minute to call and let you know they won't be coming out. Especially if it's due to an emergency, which mine was. Troy's Plumbing LIES.

Do NOT do business with Troy's plumbing. I called and scheduled an appointment to have my garbage disposal looked at. The rep gave me a time between 10am and 12pm. At 1033am I got a call saying he ran into something at the current clients house and reassured me he would come between 12pm and 2pm. At 327pm when no one showed up I called them. The rep again reassured me he was on his way. So at 502pm when they didnt show up I called them again. This time I called they informed me that the office was closed and they were an answering service. They couldn't reach the plumber but could only leave a message for Monday morning. How dare them have no respect for their customers. They wasted my entire day for absolutely nothing to be done! Call someone else. 0 stars

Had Troy's Plumbing out to look at two jobs I needed done. The office scheduled them for a Friday at 3:00 pm. When they didn't show, I called the office and was assured someone would call me. I called the office on Saturday day and the answering service assured me someone would call. They didn't. Called Tuesday and was promised another call back. They did not. BEWARE. They will waste your time too. I was a previous customer and this is how they treated me

Called Troy's Plumbing to get an estimate for replacing a garbage disposal that I supplied. I was told by the call taker that Troy would have to come to the house before he could give me an estimate. I was not told about a trip charge of $55 until I was presented with the bill. Troy said that the person who took the call should have told me. I agree, but she didn't. His installation price for the disposal was also $35 higher than 3 other licensed plumbers who had given me estimates over the phone. Buyer beware.

Scheduled an appointment several days out for a Friday morning. Thursday I got a call saying they were running behind and wouldn't make Friday. Ok, things happen, rescheduled for following Monday morning. No show, no call. I called at 3:00 and got some excuses. Was told they would be out around 3:00 the next day. No show, no call again. Glad I didn't stay home from work 2 days in a row...oh...wait...I did.

Please do not do business with this company. 1. Took half of my money, then they would not come to finish the work, took 3 months to install 2 tankless water heaters. 2. Troy's son came to my house drunk, told me he was still drunk from previous night. I reported to Troy and he replied that his son was his only option for me and there was nothing he could do. 3. They installed water heaters incorrectly and now we have carbon monoxide leaking into our living room. 4. I had to call Ferran plumbing, they could not believe how bad Troy's plumbing had done and are working after hours to repair his work due to the dangerous leak Troy's plumbing created. (I also have 2 very small children) These guys are not pro's, Troy talks as if he is your best friend (and he is a very nice man) but the quality of work will cost you in repairs, poor response time, and unprofessional behavior made me post this to warn everyone.

Waited hour and a half for a scheduled appt, no show no call. Called office and given excuse about scheduler. Told they could be there in 30 minutes to an hour. Sorry, bad first impression. I build houses for many years and I understand being late, but always call.
