Richard replaced my water heater. He was fast and efficient. I received a quote for the install, then a second quote to install a pump if the hot water didn't reach my bathroom fast enough. It turned out it took too long, so Richard came out the next day to install a pump. I felt they were fair and I appreciated the dual quote to save me money, in the event I didn't need the pump. Many plumbers would have just racked it on to charge more money, but these guys waited to see if I really needed it. Thanks!

If you want the job done in a timely manner go with another company...We hired Troy's Plumbing to replace a shower cartridge and bath spout. We've had this work done by another company in the past and it took them less than an hour to do the job. When setting up the appointment, we were quoted $105 plus parts. We had purchased parts already so that wasn't an issue, but made them aware that we were unsure if they were the correct parts. After our technician worked on the shower for over an hour, he realized the part was not going to work and left to Home Depot. He didn't find the part there so had to go to a specialty store even further away. It took him over an hour before returning. A job we thought would take an hour to complete took over 4 hours. We were unaware the hourly rate of $105 was being applied for our technician to make a multiple store run. We have reached out to the company numerous times to be refunded for the travel time that was not labor time and are getting the run around.

I was incredibly impressed by Troy Plumbing. My original request was for them to assess the bathtub drain due to sluggishness, but I decided I also wanted them to check out my other drains for slight sluggishness (not completely clogged). Their quoted timeframe was that they would show up between 2pm-5pm. They texted me that they were on their way around 1pm, so I went to my leasing office around 1:15pm to grab them a parking permit. I found out they had already gotten there, requested a parking permit themselves, and were planning on just waiting until 2pm; they just wanted time to make sure they were in the right place, since I live in a very large apartment complex. They didn't expect me to be available until 2pm, but I waved them in. They assessed my garbage disposal, bathroom sink, and bathtub drain. Offered to fix the breaker on the garbage disposal for free since it would take only a few min, and quoted me $125 for clearing the bathroom sink and bathtub drain. Extremely transparent pricing.
They even taught me how to clear the bathroom sink in the future if I wanted to do it myself, since usually stuff just gets stuck at the top and doesn't require a snake.

In the end, they saw that the garbage disposal actually was getting very corroded and will require eventual replacement. They gave me the pricing if my landlord ends up deciding to replace it, but also offered some tactics to avoid clogging it more if my landlord opts not to replace (avoid grease, run hot water once a week, use the other sink that doesn't have the garbage disposal).

Super professional, in and out in by a little over an hour. They were super nice and polite, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will be calling them for any future plumbing needs.

I had a superb experience with this company.
I had a huge and time sensitive project; pipes broke under my house, and I was sitting on a pool of water and sewage. Not only did I not have the use of my facilities, but the smell made staying at home unbearable.

Richard and Rafael came out promptly and identified the problem. The solution was to pretty much replace most of the pipes under the house (I had other companies come out for quotes, so the assessment was confirmed). Repairs were going to be costly, but they worked with me to get the price down whenever possible.

As far as work, both gentlemen were extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. Fixing the problem was difficult (i have a narrow crawl space under the house, so most of the repairs had to be done while crawling around on their stomachs). They finished repairs in under three days; and given the size of the project, this was a very fast turnaround.

James was my phone contact, and he also did a great job communicating with me, figuring out the least painful price, even helping me navigate the insurance process.

I appreciate the level of communication provided to ensure that my needs were met and the expectations were made clear. My kitchen pipe was corroded and the faucets needed to be replaced. They were punctual, professional and made the whole experience easy. Highly recommend Troy Plumbing again.

We were quoted $90 for a same day appointment. We were told that the plumber would come between 1 and 4. We received a text that stated the plumber would be coming at 2:30pm 2:30 came and went, no plumber, no call. When we reached out at 4:00pm texting back we did not receive a response until 5:40pm informing us the plumber who was supposed to come was not responding, which I understand is not their fault, they proceeded to send someone out. He showed up around 6:30pm. We did receive a discount which is nice, but the technician did not have the right equipment to do the diagnosis needed.
Instead he dug a whole in my yard told my fiancé h would talk to his boss and get back to us the next day. The next day came and went. I sent an email and still haven't received a response. As I wanted written documentation at this point. Mean while we were gathering quotes to get someone to come out again since the first attempt was not helpful. Troy plumbing had the nerve to respond to the quote request stating they could send someone out same day for $70. Nice consistency guys. Overall super disappointing especially since we had another company come out that fixed it in an hour, and by the way that was a same day appointment as well. Of course it was two days after our initial attempt since Troy plumbing didn't pull through even though we gave them the benefit of the doubt to call as promised. Biggest waste of $75. Especially since I had to pay another company to do the same thing, but much better. Absolutely will not recommend Troy plumbing.

Nothing but good things to say. Prompt coming out to give estimate. The tech gave me a thorough explanation of my options and the price was reasonable. The work was completed as explained with no additional costs. Cleaned up after the work was done. All good!
