We've had three different plumbing companies come to our house and tell us they couldn't do anything about our slow drains and an odd smell coming from the basement, one even suggested that it was a build-up in our pipes and we'd need to replace them :( And THEN we found Troutwine Plumbing! They came out and took care of all of our issues, our sinks and tubs drain now and they've ordered parts to fix the pump in the basement. We couldn't be happier and they did it all in about an hour.

Good plumbers are nearly impossible to find but I've gone with Troutwine two times now for pretty major jobs and am so pleased that I'm writing a review. Norm came out right away to take a look at the problem and then provided an accurate estimate that didn't then later change. His crew was exceptionally polite, did excellent work, showed me everything in detail, cleaned up completely -- basically everything you'd want anyone you hired to be. And they (the crew) like who they work for (their boss, the company owner), which is a really good indicator that you're working with a reputable company. Plumbing is never cheap, but at least I feel like I got my money's worth. Go with these guys if you want good work done right!

Extremely professional, respectful of property, funny and efficient! We had a main water line leaking and they were able to drill underneath our brickwork, sparing the worry of having to damage it. Everything was done within the next day after contacting them. I am told that the line is guaranteed for 20 years and the company has been around for a long time, so that is reassuring. I'm a retired builder, so I've had years of experience with contractors. Some subs are good and many not. Troutwine is new to me, using them for our house to repair or modify our system. It didn't take long to realize just how good they are. We were upgrading our master bath and a part needed to be located to complete the job. They were on it right away and let me know today that they found it and were storing it for me until needed.

I was referred to Troutwine Plumbing from another plumber who I really respect. I texted Mr. Troutwine and was scheduled to have my tankless water heater serviced. The guys who came out were super nice and seemed to know what they were doing. Unfortunately they did not know what they were doing and after over an hour assured me it was working properly. I asked about the igniter and they assured me that was not the problem. Within 24 hours the tankless water heater was exhibiting the same problem. I contacted a recommended plumber from the tankless hot water heater manufacturer and within 5 minutes they diagnosed a bad igniter and replaced it. Now the unit works great.

I contacted Mr. Troutwine and he apologized for the situation said he would talk to his guys and get back to me with a refund amount (his guys did a few other plumbing things in my house). I reached out after a week beyond when Mr. Troutwine said he would call me back ( no response) and then a another week later (again no response). While I do appreciate the attitude of Mr. Troutwine's team and professionalism if you say you are going to review the situation and offer a potential refund and do not return the texts or calls that is bad business and I would not recommend Troutwine Plumbing.
