I just switched to working with Heritage after using Bill Trombly for two years. Below is the story for why, and what my experience has been.

A couple weeks back Trombly Techs came to look at two issues for me [see attached image for diagram of issues], [I have been paying $300 a year to be a value rate member for the last 2 years to service two AC condensers and a water boiler].
-Issue 1: No cold air from three heads tied to one condenser unit
-Issue 2: 3 of the 6 indoor heads would not work with the remote. [They had tried to fix this last year: I paid ~$400 dollars and they still had not fixed it. I was told it would cost more for them to continue to troubleshoot and try another solution so I said forget it, i will turn them on manually.]

After troubleshooting this year, the techs left that day saying they needed to contact support. Later that week they called me back with the below:
-Issue 1: Nothing... they provided no estimate on fixing this. The admin said they didn't know of this issue and would not let me speak to the tech. They would need to send another tech out in roughly 1 week's time.
-Issue 2: They recommended replacing the control boards on the units where the remote wasnt working, this was different than what they tried last year. I don't have the exact quote but it was multiple hundreds of dollars per unit.

With this I cancelled my value rate and called Heritage. They scheduled an appointment for a week out but were able to get someone to me the next day on standby. After working on the system this was the result:
-Issue 1: The cold air issue was due to low refrigerant (1lb left in a 6lb system) they provided a quote and fixed it the same day
-Issue 2: Fixed the remote control issue on the spot, for free. The remotes had come out of sync and needed reprogramming. Again no charge.

So for an issue that was going on for multiple years and cost multiple hundreds of dollars while with Trombly, Heritage was able to fix everything in a single day.

We had Bill Trombly come out to install a tee off our main water manifold so my outside faucets don't pull from our full house filtration system, which puts extra strain on the media. When the plumber came out they were not prepared with the appropriate materials to complete the job nor would they be available that day. We were quoted a price for the work that day which included everything but piping to the rear faucet, all of which was done well and paid in full. We were told someone would call to schedule the follow up work within 24 hours. This didn't happen and I was told it was due to the plumber getting busy which is fine. What irritated me is that I was quoted the same amount to return and finish the job (running a single pex pipe across my basement to the rear faucet that all the prep work was already done for) as I was charged for the first day. The woman I spoke with explained that they felt they didn't charge enough for the first day and wanted to make it up on the second day and that they charge flat service fees for this work so parts and labor wouldn't be less for the return trip. That is absurd. All in, this would have cost me over $1000 to have completed. I will be going to another company to have the service completed. Don't bother with this one if you want fair pricing on your completed work.

I hired this company to put a furnace in my home in CONCORD NH. They ARE the correct company and I do not have them confused with another company ( this is in response to B. Trombly's comment).

This company did not honor the terms of their contract. They tried to charge me labor for pulling a permit (above contract charge) and when I objected reported me to credit bureaus. They did not remove old furnace as promised in contract. They were very unfriendly and rude. No attempt to resolve issues or even live up to their contractual agreement. I was billed for ""extra time"" on job because they claimed that homeowner was supposed to pull permit. Not so.
If you want to pay an excessive amount for a bad attitude call these people.

I called them for a heating system cleaning, I booked the appointment and waited 2 months for them. When the guy came he said there isn't enough oil in the tank to do the job so he left. They sent me a bill for $79 for the guys time. I asked the guy to have someone call me, they never did.I eventually called them, they were rude to me on the phone. Real nice people! NOT! I will never use them again!

Very poor service for existing customer. Company cancelled a service call and offered to reschedule it in 10 days for a no heat situation. This is on a new system which they installed only 2 years previously. When I asked to speak with Bill Trombly his office manager said he was not available and that she was in charge. Poor service, worse attitude.

Bill tromblys installed two burners four years ago. Was very pleased with their service until this year when I realized one of the expansion tanks were leaking. They did not stand behind the products they installed stating it was not under warranty and charged me not only for tank but also for labor/installation.

Called on Saturday morning for an emergency repair. Answering service picked up and advised that they are only taking calls for current customers.
How does one become a current customer without having new customers.
My advice is for Bill Trombly to stop wasting money on radio ads if they have all the customers they want.
I don't care how many hats he wears.

STAY AWAY!!!! Made an appointment a month and a half ago to have my furnace serviced and they called me the morning of my appointment to cancel it because they had other emergencies. Meanwhile I stayed home from work. I understand emergencies come up and that may push our appointment back but not actually cancel it all together. That's when you find extra people or work over time. But of course when we voiced our complaint with the manager we were told that we were being rude and they canceled our account. VERY RUDE!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! NOT WORTH YOUR TIME....LITERALLY!!!!

I bought my house in April 2017, with a 2 year old boiler. In July, I had the company that installed it come out to do a yearly cleaning. Within 2 hours of them leaving, I had no hot water. Then, they came back ""fixed"" it and two days later (I was away for the two days) I came home and no hot water. I had to wait a week for them to fix their mistake. Fast forward to a chilly October morning, I turn on the heat for the first time since the cleaning and NOTHING. I reached out to Bill Trombly, spoke with Maria and she set up an appointment for the same day. Zach came out and fixed the unit within 15 mins. Two wires were disconnected, a valve was in the off position and my assumption, since they were located inside the boiler, the previous company accidently hit the wire when they did the cleaning. With how friendly and fast Maria scheduled and how knowledgeable Zach is, I won't be using any other company for my heating and electrical services. Thank you guys!

Only reason I agreed to purchase and install a mini split system by Bill Trombly is that I was told by salesman I would receive a $750.00 rebate. Contract was signed in May. They did not complete work until end of June because they were short on staff. By the time rebate forms were submitted which was promptly the next day after the install the funding had run out. Trombly should insure funding is available before the install giving the customer an option to cancel and they did not. Due to the very high cost of hiring Bill Trombly (charges TOP DOLLAR) it was necessary that I receive my rebate. Their lack of getting the job done promptly cost me $750.00. Also had a credit of 160.00 which was VERY difficult to get back. They wanted me to leave it on credit for future to cover service fees. I should not be required to pay in advance for service calls. After several calls to Bill Trombly I was finally able to get them to refund my $160.00 credit but it did not happen without argument. It was at that time I was also told if I did not hire them at a cost of 99.00 per year for the next five years to service (clean the filter) that they would not warranty the unit. Correction, first year service is free and then 99.00 for the following 4 years. This was not told to me at any time during signing of contract. It was only after I tried to get the overcharge credit refunded that I was told they would not warranty unless I agreed to pay them for future service calls to clean the unit adding another 400.00 to the cost of the unit. This company is raping the customer in every way. Very high charges, salesman will tell you what ever he has to to get the sale, forced to pay additional fees for service fees in advance or they WILL NOT WARRANTY! I feel it is the salesman responsibility to inform customer at time of signing that they are required to pay future service fees or NO WARRANTY and also to insure that there is funding available for rebates when he is telling his customers that they WILL RECEIVE A REBATE. Salesman NEVER mentioned rebate is only good as long as funding is available. Had he mentioned this I could of checked on the funding before I agreed to the terms. Total cost including service fees is over $6000.00. Bill Trombly would not issue or refund any credit as customer courtesy for their lack to get the job done promptly which if they had I would of received my rebate as funding ran out end of June. Attitude from Trombly was, to bad, so sad. This company can afford costly TV commercials but they have terrible customer service and they charge top dollar for everything! I thought dealing with a so called reputable company was a good thing but quickly learned that this company is not reputable at all. BUYER BEWARE, if dealing with Bill Trombly cover your bases and verify for yourself everything the salesman tells you because there is a good chance it is FALSE and only a tactic used to get you to sign the contract. Once they have your money they do not care about you anymore and in fact will only find ways to get MORE MONEY out of you or they will not warranty your unit. TERRIBLE!
