Company Overview

Trojan Plumbing is skilled in numerous fields of plumbing. In addition, we provide services for water damage and flood damage.

Created in 2011, Trojan Plumbing Company began by Troy and Michelle Koren. Troy initiated his plumbing journey at just 18. Following a move at 19, he continued plumbing for various companies.

He carefully chose positions at companies that specialized in different segments of the trade. He began with service plumbing, then transitioned to residential new construction, moved on to commercial new construction, and eventually returned to service plumbing.

Trojan Plumbing excels in various areas of plumbing. We have worked on all Southside YMCA remodels, as well as developed a majority of the Stan's Donut shops in the area. Furthermore, we have plumbed the new north-side restaurant, Pork & Mindy's, and Wow Bao. We also remember the many homes we have worked on throughout the area. Additionally, we deliver water damage and flood damage services.

Highly recommend, friendly, approachable, reliable. Sent a message to request service on Thursday. Jason called within 90 minutes and arranged to come out Saturday. I had to reschedule for Monday and did so via text. Jason gave me an hour time frame and arrived a few minutes late, but no biggie. He fixed our leaky kitchen faucet in under an hour. We will definitely use them again!

Jason scheduled me pretty quickly and was on time. The problems are quality of work and professionalism. In general quality of work was mediocre but not terrible. However in an 8-unit condo building we had a big leak into the 1st floor back hallway and storage area that started 6 months ago. There is a long outside drain set in concrete with a drain gate next to the building. About 6 months ago I asked Jason if the drain being clogged could be the reason for the leak. He said it looked fine. Now (6 months later) i ran out of other solutions to the leak and pulled the drain covers anyway. The drain was a mess and completely clogged. I tool 5 gallons of sludge/debris out of the trough and another 3 gallons out of the actual drain after rodding 25 ft. It runs great now and there has been no leak so far (though it hasn't rained hard yet). 6 months of leak and damage and stress could have been avoided. The professionalism issue happened 2 weeks ago. I had called Jason's office to schedule a visit. Jason called me that evening and told me to never act ""snippy"" and like such a ""dick"" to his secretary again. I had and have no idea what he is talking about, I told Jason I resented his call and thought it unprofessional. He said he would talk to his secretary and call me back, He never did.

We have paid Trojan $3005 over the course of about a year for several jobs. The date he told me the drain looked fine was 7/13/16.

My water heater went out last night. I called three plumbers. Trojan called me back first. Instead of rushing to come to my home to fix it, the person on the phone talked to me about shutting off the water and waiting until the morning to save me $350 for the after hours fee. He gave me a quote on the phone (that was a comparable price) and promised someone would be out at 9 a.m.

The guys were here at 8:37 a.m. to replace the water heater, which they did quickly. When they were turning the water back on, they said they thought water was on somewhere in the house and had me check my upstairs bathroom. Sure enough, the bathtub faucet was on and I couldn't turn it off. They fixed that, too, and were done before 10 a.m.

Instead of running up my costs, they only did the repair work needed (replace the shower stem valve). Then, they gave me a 50% discount on that work and a small credit on the overall bill. I was VERY happy with the work and the cost. I will definitely use Trojan for my future plumbing needs. Thorough and quality job, friendly people, decent prices. Can't beat that!

We only had a small job; replace shower fixtures, but Troy and Joe were professional and nice. I thought they were reasonably priced. Most importantly, they worked around MY schedule. While I hope we don't have any major plumbing issues, if we do, they will be my first call!
Thank you.

Always 5 stars for Trojan. Same day service from Jason and Mike. They replaced my leaking garbage disposal for a fair price. Definitely use this local, family-owned company.

Where do I begin? Well here's what happened. We experienced sewage backup through the toilet on level 2 of our house. This occurred whenever water was turned on, toilets flushed, or tub/shower/sinks drained.

We called a ""company"" & they declared the fix would require us to shut off the main water valve & a cost of approximately $3,000 to repair the problem. My husband & I are both disabled, and we had no way of coughing up that much money, but we knew we had to get the problem resolved.

On day 2 of the water outage, the ""company"" rings the doorbell & I'm shocked to see 2 trucks & a bulldozer parked in front of my house. I told the ""company"" to hold his horses, because I needed to call my husband. I told my husband to invite them to leave, because we were unable to get the work done.

Things were not quite right to me with the ""company,"" so I called TROJAN. In spite of their full schedule, they listened as we explained we were without water for 3 days, and came out. Jason & Mick immediately saw that we were being scammed by the ""company!"" Our problem was solved in under half an hour, for $75.

The moral of this story is...when you need a PLUMBER, don't call a ""company,"" call TROJAN!

Troy of Trojan Plumbing came to rod out our bathroom drains. We had a bathtub that wouldn't drain with a sink that backed up into the tub when running water. It was a fairly complicated clog. I contacted Troy through the Trojan website at 10:00 pm and had an immediate response with an estimate and offer of an an appointment the next afternoon. He called from his previous appointment this afternoon to let me know his eta. The best part is the drains are clear finally. They were polite and professional, leaving my bathroom neat and functional. I highly recommend their services!
