I've never used them but I must comment on their commercial. It is related to the Buffalo Bills. The company describes all the things they fix. At the end of the commercial they highlight a Bills ""fail"" and say ""We don't fix that."" As a western New York company I find this disturbing. Why not highlight a success and say ""We don't have to fix that."". Just a thought.
I had a plumbing emergency the afternoon of Super Bowl Sunday. I called triple o got a response almost immediately. the technician (Jeremy) was at my house within 20 minutes of us speaking on the phone not only was Jeremy polite and professional he didn't even mock me for trying to fix the problem myself first which he had every right to do. the repair was quick he did an excellent job and cleaned up after even tho the mess was made by me trying to fix it myself first. the price was much better than I expected given i was calling during off hours. I can not recommend them enough or thank Jeremy enough for his amazing service.
The frost-free hose-bib embedded in the floor slab on the back of our house did not drain properly this winter and apparently froze thereby creating about a 1-inch tear in the copper pipe about 5 inches back from the hose-bib outlet outside the house and about midway on the 14"" frost free valve pipe. after connecting a hose there was little to no pressure in the attached hose. then after placing a pressure guage on the outlet and after the long shaft faucet was turned on you could hear the water spraying out of the pipe and into the wall above. some water began to drip down over the cinderblock concrete foundation and there was some water creeping out on the wooden floor inside the house. We obtained a contractor referral from our home insurance company and it took them 3 weeks to come out due to their already full schedule that first contractor then misdiagnosed the problem and thought the bare copper pipe had failed due to corrosion in the concrete slab. they wanted to tear up the floors in three rooms (tile and wood laminate) to follow the 35-ft. water line back to the basement in the other half of the house possibly because they were working with the insurance adjuster? But such a repair would be extremely expensive and damaging to our house. as it is they also flaked out and never sent over a formal quote. so I kept looking, this time for a company that handled slab leaks which triple-o does in case the first contractor was right about the copper pipe being corroded by the concrete, even though I could hear the leak when turning on the faucet at the wall in the hose bib and there was also zero indication of any other leakage in the 35-ft. water line. When I called triple-o they sheduled two technicians Jake Lemmon and joe D'ambra to come out to the house the very next day which was a big relief. they correctly diagnosed cause and location of the break in the pipe. I received a full written quotation via email by the end of the same week. I had some family schedule conflcts so I accepted back to triple-o in about another week and when I did they were again able to schedule their repair visit for the very next day! that day Jake and another tech named Jeremy arrived in the early morning and were both very professional. highly focused, persistent and detail oriented. we could also see concrete patching of the foundation which indicated that the frost-free valve had been replaced in the past by the previous owner of the house so Jake and Jeremy began chipping and drilling the concrete from outside the house in order to avoid a mess or any damage to our internal wooden floor. they made good progress for awhile but because the valve was longer than expected ~14 inches vs. a more typical10-Inches it would not break free and come out. so Jake offered to cleanly cut out a section of our wooden flooring and then go down into the concrete to access the valve. this was extra work outside the quotation and Jake had made it clear the first time we met that they don't typically do floor work on plumbing repairs because of cosmetics. this time he cheerfully offered to get it all done for no extra charge so they carefully measured and made a precision cut into the tongue & groove floor boards. and then went into the concrete. the whole time both Jake and Jeremy were intuitively cooperative with each other i.e. each offering the other a hand or assistance or another tool without talking very much. they are an amazing team. after measuring they replaced the frost-free valve with a newer high quality part that also featured an anti-siphon vacuum breaker much better than the old valve they very quickly cleaned up and moved onto their next project. We've done a lot of work on this house and have had about a dozen contractors come out to work on it. this pair was by far the very best. the fact that triple-o was twice able to schedule a next day visit was huge as well. While Jake and Jeremy were both very sharp triple-o is also all about the service.
Had an HVAC named Dakota come in to fix our toilet that had been looked at four times and had not been fixed. Dakota spent every minute diagnosing the problems and taking the time to fix the problems, he went above and beyond and I am extremely satisfied with his work. Thank you so much Dakota I appreciate you.
I worked for this company for a few months last year and have nothing but great things to say about them. The installers are all knowledgable and detail oriented. The owner cares about both his employees and his customers. I would still be working there happily If I wasn't presented the opportunity I was somewhere else and I would gladly have them work in my home.
BJ F.It was for a furnace cleaning & the kid hardly did anything! He never wrote down that he cleaned it but I paid him. A few months later someone from the State came to inspect something that was worked on & he asked do you mind if I check over your furnace? He took the front off & found 3 different screws just laying there! He found where they all went & said this is poor workmanship! My furnace is fairly new but who wants someone that leaves screws not put back! I called the owner a month or so later & he yelled at me & said the State is trying to make us look bad! I watched both men work on my furnace. The young guy & the seasoned worker from the State. The State knew what he was doing & I will never give this company the time of day! I hope by posting this I don't get harassed again by the owner!
Nhoj O.They overcharged me and never did fix my boiler. I had no heat or hot water. They were here for two hours. At time and a half (the mantra of the technician). When they left, I was still without heat or hot water plus I had a gas leak I never had before. They replaced a part that they said I needed. But took the old one so I can't verify it was bad. There invoice shows how professional they are, a piece of paper and what I owed them. Unable to break down time and materials and taxes.
Had to hire someone else to get the boiler fixed. They were cheaper and before they left, they made sure I had heat in all 3 zones, hot water and NO gas leak.
Robert S.After many issues Triple OOO has taken care of most of the problems and I would highly recommend them for HVAC service.
As for the plumbing part I still have a bad taste but will give them another chance when i need some plumbing done, as they have worked with me and have tried to rectify all of the problems. I give them a lot of credit as I spoke directly with the owner. He was very apologetic with the issues that I had and has assured me that they have corrected.
Thank you for all of your help.
Yvonne R.Came in the time he said. Wore a mask. Did what he said he could do. Very pleasant. I would recommend to anyone and would call them again if needed.
I had Triple 000 come out to my home to look at the shut-offs for my washing machine. I hadn't opened or closed them for 30 years so I was concerned that during a repair on my washing machine they would start leaking, so I wanted a professional to look at them. As soon as the repairman walked into my home he started mentioning his concerns about the possibility that he may have to cut open my wall if he needed to replace the shut-offs. Of course that really worried me. After sometime of him checking the existing shut-offs, he told me that he felt they weren't going to leak. He did stick around for a couple of minutes and felt I was good to go. He then gave me my bill, which honestly wasn't that bad so I paid him and away he went. Well, within 5-10 minutes after him leaving I went over to find that the hot water shut-off was leaking. Now I'm going to have to call another plumber to have the shut-offs replaced because I don't have any confidence in Triple 000. Frustrated at this point.
* I would like to give update my review for Triple OOO. After posting my review I received a phone call from Mr. Michael Thomas at Triple OOO, he was very helpful and worked with me to rectify my previous experience. I had a gentleman named Shane come out to my home yesterday and he did end up having to cut my wall, but he took the time to explain everything and did a great job. They also applied the money I paid at the first visit to the bill yesterday. I am happy with the outcome.
