A dreaded gas leak was discovered by PG&E and they shut off the gas for safety. I called Ray Triola Plumbing - upon recommendation from my trusty handyman - in the evening. He came out the next morning exactly at the time promised to address the gas leak issues.

He went above and beyond the identified problems and efficiently replaced the old gas valves on several appliances as well as updating some gas pipes.

He's a total pro and checked his work several times for safety and took all of the measures to make sure the gas was back up and running as well as what I should expect in the process.

The bill was very fair. All in all having this problem fixed so quickly by such a plumbing expert may have been the best decision I've made this year yet!

Ray has done all the plumbing for us for 10 years or so, including solving odd problems in a 103 year old house, moving some gas and sewer lines, adding an earthquake shutoff valve for the gas line and doing all the plumbing for a bathroom addition. You couldn't find anyone more reliable or knowledgeable in whatever plumbing problem you have. He's seen them all. He solved our latest problem over the phone.

Triola Plumbing was a pleasure to work with.

We had two sink fixtures replaced, one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. Ray Triola was OK with installing the hardware we had already purchased, and didn't try to sell us ""something better"". He showed up as scheduled and finished the job in a timely fashion. He was willing to let us watch him work and he explained what he was doing at each step.

Even when he found that the original installers had cemented the hardware in place with excessive and unnecessary grout, Ray remained professional, refraining from speculation about their skills or sanity. Instead, he simply showed us why the grout was pointless, and continued with the job at hand.

The space under the bathroom sink is limited, requiring some minor adaptation of the drain plug. Ray pointed out the problem and again explained what he needed to do before proceeding.

Despite the additional work, the job was done at close to the estimated time, and the final cost was reasonable.

We would definitely choose Triola Plumbing again.

Outstanding service at a great price! Our water heater broke this morning and Ray came right out, figured out the problem, and installed a new one. When a problem seemed to emerge, he spent lots of time trying to figure it out, gave us suggestions, and then called later to checkin. Now, that's stellar service. It turned out the installation worked perfectly and we're back in business with lots of hot water. We highly recommend Ray- a great plumber and a really nice person.

Ray is the best. He has done extensive work on my old house's plumbing, including upgrades and rerouting to address a slab leak. I always call him first when anything comes up and he gives me advice and refers me to other professionals if he's too busy to come do the work himself. Honest man and excellent plumber.

I had Mr. Triola come out for a problem that a prior plumber after three attempts could not fix.
He returned my call promptly, came exactly when he said he would (no large windows) diagnosed it correctly in 2 minutes and fixed it.

When I mentioned a leak in my shower, he for no charge caulked one point and showed me where the remainder of the problem was structural.

Nothing but good things to say - reasonable rates and communicative.
