This Triangle Company randomly called our family and since we had so many items to get done around the house, they immediately came over to hour house. After the first 30min of talking with them about all of the work we needed around the house; such as Electrical lighting changes on the outside of the house, recessed lights in the garage, entire front cement step redesign and painting of the house. We thought we better start writing everything down we discussed. So we got our computer out and typed out 4 pages of the action items including all of the details. The salesman said it wasn't necessary but we wrote out after 5 hours 4 pages with pictures of how and what we wanted. d When we asked if Triangle had their own staff or did they sub-contract out to other companies, they said they have their own staff. After nearly 5 hours the salesman signed the paperwork and we gave them a down payment. The first people that came out were the Electrical and they were wearing some other companies T-shirts. When I asked them if they worked for Triangle, they said no. The minute they started working they had no idea what needed to be done and my family had to act as the General Contractor and explain everything. The painters who were nice peopel also tried to cut corners by placing only one coat of paint. We showed the signed paperwork detailing two coats of primer and two coats of paint and they agreed. The cement people didn't want to do the cement work like we outlined in the detail contract we wrote. The original salesman was no where to be found even though he promised to come by 2-3 times a week to inspect the work. We ended up guiding the six different companies that came to our house. After the work was done we explained about all of the problems but they were not interested in listening. One of the recessed ligths in the garage is completely dented in the ceiling as they hit one of the beams. The outside lights direclty in front of the house still don't work to this day. After 1 hour of haggling with the cement people and showing them the signed contract by Triangle, they finally gave up and did the front cement and bullnose brick work like we wanted, which after 3 days caused a pipe burst leak under the bricks as they placed the cement right over the sprinkler pipes. After much complaining they came 1 week later and fixed it over a 3 day period. Our situation could have been a lot worse had my family and I not written everything down. We now understand that Triangle company was sold or changed names as they still call us for more jobs... As long as they are still located in Culver, we would not trust this company for anything. They have a long way to go to understand basic business and customers needs.

Over 2 years ago, their rep claimed to be doing work in the neighborhood and was offering estimates on work. I did request an estimate. A woman called me later that day and said that the work i was interested in probably didn't meet their minimum charge so I canceled the request for the estimate. However, they have called me multiple times since then and each time I tell them that I have nothing I want them to do for me and I have nothing I will ever want them to do for me and to remove from their call list. I am also on the Do Not Call Registry. Just looked it up and if they have not done business for you in the last 18 months or you have not contacted them in the last 3 months, they cannot be calling you. When they call, they now refuse to say who they are unless you will confirm to them who is speaking. But, I google the number to find out it is them still bothering me. I filed a complaint. If they are THAT desperate for work, I sure wouldn't trust them!

A cold visit convinced me to hire them, although pushy. I paid for them to install new windows and central air. They ordered the biggest front window too small you could see the sky almost a full inch. After stating the problem they agreed to order the window again. When it is windy outside the curtains move which defeated the double pane cost savings on energy. I had ordered an ac system and was talked into another brand that I later found was not on the energy savings list and I was not able to collect the money from my energy provider or the city. Need I say more.

It took one month to do a ""promised "" 4 day trim painting job on my house. They boosted the price by $900 after the job was under way because they underestimated the amount of wood needed to be replaced. They slopped paint on my concrete walkways, patio and drive ways. Also got paint on the stucco. They didn't finish painting the flashing on the trim and told me the job was done. I said it is not finished to my satisfaction. The job supervisor told me it would be an additional $200 to complete that part of the job! I told him to just get the job done ASAP and I'm not paying any addition amount to have it completed. They finally ""completed it"". I had to do some finishing on my own. The office Project manager or anyone of higher authority never returned my numerous calls during this time. I asked the job supervisor why the company was so inept. He said the painter said this is ""just a trim job and not that important"".
They get an A+ for selling the job and an F- for performing the job in a neat and timely manner.
If they ""canvass"" your neighborhood, handing out fliers DON'T answer the door.
I sent a 3 page letter to the company CEO, office manager, project manager and job supervisor two weeks ago and no surprise -- No response!
Stay away from TRIANGLE CONSTRUCTION!!!!!

I received a marketing call from this company and did make an appointment for them to give me a quote. Sales person who referred to himself as a manager was extremely aggressive although not totally rude and obnoxious until I signed. Then he refused to answer even the simplest of questions such as ""how many square feet is the job"" asking ""what do you need to know that for"" everything with this person turned into a personal attack. He did not do anything illegal.... but very unethical. Workmanship on my laminate floor was good... not great... just good. They also installed molding, which was TERRIBLE. the corners do not match and there are gaps between the different pieces of wood. I have to hire someone else to fix it. I would ordinarily ask the person who did the job to make a correction... but I would not want these people anywhere near me or my home ever again... under any circumstances.

Last week I finally finished remodeling my kitchen. They did a great job, i'm more then satisfied. The price was reasonable, the tiles are perfect, they did not leave any mess and finished on schedule. Their costumer service is great!
I will be happy to recommend them to my friends and family, and defiantly will hire them again for my next construction! Thank you Triangle construction.

Thank goodness I felt weird around the salesguy and refused to give him my number at my door. I don't want people calling me. When I refused to give my number he got all pissy and angry. OK, like that's really going to help you and your company.
What a joke.

More spam. Daily calls from a Magic Jack number in Orange County that is confirmed as Triangle's telemarketers. All because I answered my door when a sketchy Triangle guy in an orange shirt knocked.

Don't even bother scheduling an estimate unless you want to be constantly harassed by salespeople who don't seem to know what NO means.
