We've been battling with our builder for the last two years (literally since before closing day) to address an HVAC issue in our basement. Our builder sent the same contract technician out to fix this issue 3 separate times and he repeatedly insisted there was no problem. The constant smell of gas in our home told a very different story, however.

We finally had enough of trying to get our builder to address the issue that they created and repeatedly failed to fix and called Tri-Town. We set a date for one of their technicians to visit and met Jason later in the week. He was very prompt, friendly, and extremely professional; it was very obvious from the start that he knew what he was doing and he had creative solutions to our long term issue. Turns out (just as we suspected) a valve was faulty and leaking gas into the basement.

Jason explained exactly what was wrong and showed us with a lighter that there was gas flowing even after the furnace had shut off. He tapped the valve with a screwdriver and the force dislodged the stuck piece so that it closed properly: voila! He had the part ordered immediately and set up a second appointment with us to replace it. Once it arrived, the next appointment went just as well as the first; Jason was polite, professional, and punctual and he left us with a functional furnace valve.

I would highly recommend booking with Tri-Town if you have any HVAC issues and will definitely use them again if the need arises.

We had good experience first time used Tri-Town - they addressed a problem with fireplace. However, 7 months later the fireplace had another problem - on calling they were prompt and responsive. However, there seems to be a failure to diagnose the problem properly. After two visits and over $800 in charges the same problem remained. When notified of this via text and phone messages there was no reply or acknowledgement -- or attempt to communicate. We wanted to work with them to solve it. In the end my son tested and replaced a simple wall switch, which seems to have addressed the problem.

They truly showed up when we needed help the most - installing our hot water heater the same day. Chris and everyone else we worked with were nothing short of professional and kind kind kind. Very understanding of our urgent situation (i.e., having been completely without a hot water tank for over 2-weeks with an 8-month-old, due to a faulty contractor who bailed on us that our warranty company initially set us up with). Quality work and customer service like this is almost unheard of nowadays.

This company has been contracted a few times by my home insurance to fix issues I had in my house.

I think it's been the 3rd time they are coming to my house (not their fault, each time a different bathroom breaks down)
They've always been very quick at finding and fixing my plumbing issues and the problems are never coming back once they fixed it.

They always are very patient with my many questions and always give me good advice. Without them I would definitely have had more plumbing issues as they were able to tell me about things that were about to fail and how to fix them myself.
