The people at the company are really nice but they made a mistake when they were called in by the property management co for my building to find a leak in the condo below me. They are a plumbing company not a leak detection co. They claimed they observed a sand size whole in my fiberglass bathtub. They tore out a hole in the apron of the tub to take a video. The video showed a swelled casket at the waste drain lever. They sent me a proposal to have the bathtub replaced. There was a not a leak in the tub causing any damage below. They sent a bill to me through the management co for $1157.00. In the invoice it clearly says there was no leak detected so why they sent me a proposal for a tub, I do not know. They made a mistake that they cannot own up to and has convinced the property manage that the cause of the leak below was coming from my bathtub. I hired a leak detection co. There was no leak in the tub, and no leak coming from my bathroom. I paid a $1000 to have the apron repaired. I just want this review to reflect how I have been wronged without restitution.

This company is a RIP OFF. Only a few month ago, I spent over $1000 for a tub drain repair in my bathroom, and now it is clogged again. They collect the money but ""repaired"" nothing. Look at this company as a last last resort.

Plumber Jules serviced our building so well that he came out last minute at 8P on a Wednesday 07.12.2023 and had our water running within a couple of hours despite having to dig through fecal matter to unclog the drain which was stopped due to someone flushing a wig down the toilet in our community. Please promote this young man to a position of superlative expertise and further responsibility and professionalism.

Tri-Star? Better to Try Harder. What do you get for a $250/hr ""professional""? Excuses & more excuses.

It's bad business to have a 7 day COI turnaround because they couldn't copy the sample I sent. Their EXCUSE, was that they don't offer COIs?! Every NYC trade pro does, so that's lame. They should have paid me for all the extra work and time I had to do just to get them to do it right.

It's also bad business to wait around all day to have them cancel in the final hour. Their EXCUSE, that they're an emergency business & schedules are subject to change. I hope you will never need them for an emergency. Am i paying for the responsibility to be understanding and accommodating them?

There were almost too many unnecessary mistakes that cost me more time & money, when all I required was a certified plumber to hook up a new stove!

I am tired of businesses that make like they are doing us a favor while overcharging. A good business would take accountability & offer a small compensation or concession. Their worst EXCUSE is why they didn't offer either. They said ""Your job wasn't big enough.""

You can belittle us, but consumers have a big voice today, and there are plenty of other plumbers out there to chose from. As another professional in the business, I can not in good conscience make any recommendation or refer to use this company.

The entire staff at Tri Star are utmost professionals. John the owner is glad to speak with you on high level matters. Ryan is the most knowledgeable field supervisor we work with. Omar has displayed strong dedication and work ethic onsite at buildings diagnosing leaks. Irena is always very helpful when having worked dispatched via their office. As a Property Manager I can say that I trust this outfit entirely, highly recommended.

My landlord uses this company. My antique apartment with old-fashioned tub and toilet is not easy. The plumbers know their stuff and are always a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

I've been a customer for years. Tri-Star has amazing customer service, they are always reliable and are quick to problem solve and resolve all of my plumbing issues. I recently had a plumbing emergency and Krzysztof Rekas from Tri-Star went above and beyond to help. He is knowledgeable and explained everything that needed to be done for the job. He acted with a sense of urgency and the work was completed swiftly. Highly recommend!

Excellent company , very fast response & emergencies as well. If you don't have a account with them they cost a little high per hour. I had a technician named Mark come to my house in the lower village & he was super fast - clean & did his best to finish before the hour was up, I would only recommend the tech named Mark & his nephew. They also made sure everything was super clean & took away all the garbage, such a sweetheart !!

Great Service, friendly and efficient.
I was surprised by how hard it was to find a licensed plumber in NYC who would return my call about installing 2 new toilets in an apartment in Manhattan. The first one I spoke to wanted to charge me the full hourly rate, which is generally $200 and up) for someone just to come by to measure the rough-in. Then my super connected me with TriStar. They returned my call right away and I was able to send the the documentation for the toilets I planned to get. This was over the holidays so it took a couple of weeks, but Akeil got back to me pretty fast and came over to measure (free of charge) and gave me their hourly rate upfront. When the toilets arrived, he was able to schedule the installation right away. The guys arrived on time, we extremely nice, worked efficiently, and even cleaned up diligently after the work was done. I was even able to pay with a credit card. If you're looking for a plumber, start with these guys.
