Used this company for well over 10 years for plumbing. Everything from clogged drains to big jobs exceeding the $1000 mark. Gave them countless referrals over the years as well, which I am sure resulted in incremental business. All was well until the Father retired and left the business to the son, who brought with him a much higher price tag and more than a little bit of arrogance. Nothing is more insulting, than telling a long time customer that performing plumbing work in their home ""is not cost effective to them."" I guess these days they are not interested in residential work, unless the job lines their pockets significantly. And if that is the new business model - Inform your long term customers politely and professionally.

They recently implemented an answering service and installed GPS in the trucks. Which makes it ironic that they oftentimes don't return calls and can't get the ETA straight!

This is a shame because the Father was a stand up, honest, old school plumber who has sadly been superseded by someone who thinks he is too cool for school. Good luck with your endeavor and always remember - the same people you met on your way up....you will meet on your way down.

Scam. Be aware of these guys. I was out of town and they showed up because our AC unit in the upstairs was not working. My wife met the men who appeared to be helpful. They told her what was wrong with the AC unit and that we had a bad compressor. We were told we needed a whole new system. $7k+ and they charged her $560 for a emergency visit in which they didn't fix anything. I came home and looked at the unit. the only thing wrong was we needed a new filter and the compressor froze because not enough air coming in due to the filter being too dirty. what a scam! They even shut off the unit from the outside thinking I wouldn't be able to figure it out. do yourself a favor and call someone else.

Tri-County helped us out with a hot water heater emergency after hours. They were extraordinarily quick to respond and the service we received was exceptional. They really went above and beyond especially considering that we called after 9PM.

You can tell it's high quality work, they're super knowledgeable and they're happy to answer any questions along. Everyone we interacted with was very professional and friendly. We would 100% recommend them to anyone in an instant. Reliable, trustworthy, very tidy and friendly!

These guys are great - quick to respond to phone calls and very professional. We have had them out three times for annual maintenance and a few other things. They take the time to explain what they are doing and why. I feel that they're very honest and trustworthy, and I recommend them to everyone I know.

Beware. Sounds a scammer contractor. I requested estimate in Hoboken and he called me back. He was quick rude and hung up on me saying he has all this experience but wanted an $120 fee to come out here even though I'm local. I'm not sure if he is even competent or capable to do the job if I don't know how he works. I don't mind he charged a fee but how he was very rude without saying a word. There are bad contractors out there so beware. I wouldn't consider him.
