Before you read this Tom told me he was more of a Plumber than a Heating Person and he did over charge us because we have a protection plan that pays whatever you bill. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB before I am done with him. I told him that I would be watching for the Bill.
well we had a heating issue where we were not getting full heat from our force hot water registers so we called the gas company because we have the guardian care pack to cover us if anything happen. so they sent Tom out to our home well this is where it gets good first off he had this look on his face that made me concerned about his ability to do the job so I stayed with him through the whole process, he really didn't have a clue what to do and being a weekend day there was nobody for him to call, So he just started to replace parts but before he could do that he had to empty his tools out ON MY CARPETTED FLOOR no he didn't put a towel down or ask for one he just didn't care(I almost lost it right there)so then he proceeded to change out my circulation pump which didn't do a thing for us but it helped him to bill us. After figure out that was the issue he said he be back by Monday, He showed up first thing Monday morning and called the Burnham dealer for advise they told him that was the circulation circuit board not the pump so he order it cost shipping & handling. guess what that didn't work either so he came back again reorder another circuit board at my cost and them broke out his Volt Ohm Meter to start to look for voltage should have done that first. and then between him and the Burnham deal that was on the phone came to the conclusion that it was my Aqua STAT Unit that was failing, So all the other stuff he did was for nothing and weeks had gone by during the coldest part of the year leaving us with only a furnace that was only half working.

So I finally had a real Furnace repair company come out and fix it and while they were there they point out to me that he had broken all the support tabs that held the Circulation board in place, so I had to go out of my way to find something that wasn't made of metal to use to remount it back into it's proper place inside the furnace. which now I have to pay for because he over billed me for extra parts and extra trip charges.

This person needs to retire and find something else to do because all he is doing is ripping people off. so if TRI COUNTY PLUMBING & HEATING is coming to your home, beware.

$120 for a standard service call is expensive, and you can bet Tom is more than willing to take you're money even if he didn't fix anything. Watch out for this guy. He does no favors.

The first thing you're going to notice is that your calls will be returned promptly. That gets him a couple of stars right there. I hired Tom to run a gas line to a generator. He came three times - once to look at the job, once to do it, and again for the city inspection. Each time he was here exactly when he said he would be. His price was hundreds less than the other bid I got. He did the job promptly, neatly and well. He's also a pretty nice guy - and interesting to talk to. I'd use him again without the slightest hesitation.
