Schalk Opperman hails from South Africa and made his way to the USA, bringing extensive construction expertise. In the States, he discovered his enthusiasm for trenchless underground construction, which led to the establishment of Drill Sub.

DRILL SUB is a fresh and innovative company led by Schalk Opperman. In 2002, he joined a General Engineering Contractor in California, entering the pipeline sector and gaining extensive experience in underground construction.

In 2006, he established the Southern California market for JM Turner Engineering, Inc. and still provides consulting services for this firm.

With 18 years of diverse experience, Schalk covers all facets of the underground construction industry, from installation and contracting to consulting and designing complex shoring systems. Now is the moment for Schalk's experience, paired with his entrepreneurial drive and a significant opportunity, to lead to the creation of DRILL SUB.
