We have had wonderful care and customer service with Travers. Gary the owner wohld personally call and come over to ensure our project was going well. We had them do a 6 bathroom house both plumbing and hvac!

I unfortunately made an inquiry to Travers Plumbing and Heating Inc., and received a call from their office manager on 07 Dec. 2021, she stated that they had a job canceled and she could send out a plumber the next day, 8 Dec. 2021 to install my new water heater and well storage tank (which I supplied).
The office manager stated that the job would cost no more that $1000.00 and she requested my credit card number to make the charge in advance of the work. The plumber (Gary) showed up on time at approximately 8:45am and I showed him the tasks and he got to work. The job ended at approximately 3:00 pm and I asked the Gary for an invoice, but he stated it would be sent out by the office manage. Wait for IT! My credit card was charge $2,963.86! On 13 Dec. 2021, I received a paid statement with no breakdown of hours or plumbing materials supplied by Travers Plumbing (a small amount of copper piping and fittings), certainly not costing $1, 963.86. I also learned when the job was done from Gary that he is not licensed plumber, which voids the warranty on my new water heating tank. I am a senor citizen that was taken complete and utter advantage of by an unscrupulous company. Shame of a company and individuals that knowing rip off good people.

I plan to do everything I can to highlight how this company is taking advantage and ripping off trusting customers. I ask anyone who reads this to contact Travers Plumbing and Heating and express your disgust at their behavior. Please Boycott this company. Thanks.

Travis Plumbing & Hesting has always responded to my needs for many years. From their personable and helpful office staff to the technicians everyone is so pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough. As an elder, I especially like their senior discount. They clean up after themselves as well.
I wouldn't hesitate to use them anytime.

I'll start this review by saying this is the 2nd review I've ever given of anything. This company is so bad I have to make sure others do not make the mistake of paying them a single penny. The owner was supposed to call me to fix a billing problem and it's been almost a week and I still haven't heard back despite calling multiple times AGAIN. These folks agreed to fix a small toilet leak between 10-2, showed up at 6pm with no explanation after we called about 10 times to get someone in there (renters were occupying and it was only bathroom). They then charged us for a two hour visit after plumber was there for 30 minutes at time and a half because by 6, guess what, that's overtime now and that's somehow our fault. I called to explain the issue and both employees I talked to told me I was lucky to get their business and that I should be thanking them that they even came over to the house. Heard enough? Probably, stay clear of this awful company. Just bought a home in the area (as did several friends) and they probably missed out on at least 25k of business over the coming years. Way to treat your customers, prime example of how to bury your own business. No sympathy here.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - OVERCHARGING - DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE - Called them for the first time to fix the furnace and was told how much per hour they charged. They came promptly and charged for 1 hour as agreed. Had to call them again a few days later for the same problem occuring again, and I paid again for one hour of labor. Shortly after, had to call them for the third time, the same issue reoccuring. Talked with technician this time who stated it was one hour worth of serivce, but I was charged for two hours. No parts, just the same old hour worth of labor charged as two hours. Called the office many times to get the explanation of the charge. Nobody ever called back. Disputed the overcharged amount with my credit card company.

I had a major leak down in the basement. I contacted Traver's Plumbing an spoke to Erica. She immediately understood the severity of my situation due to having horses and having a well. She called me back within 10 minutes and she said a technician would be there within the hour. Andy showed up and I showed him the leak he thoroughly explained what he was going to do and had it fixed in no time. He was one of the most respectful and kind technicians I have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend Traver's Plumbing to anyone.

Have used Travers for oil delivery and furnace service for a couple of years. They helped me tremendously when I neeeded a part for a furnace that is no longer made. Today they bailed me out when I ran out of oil on a Friday in freezing weather. Not the first time either. Everyone I have dealt with has always been pleasant and very helpful.

Would recommend, they've never failed to come through for me.

DO NOT USE: After confirming an 8-12 service appointment, and then waiting over 7 hours, I was contacted at 3:15 by email that said my technician was at another job that was more urgent and that he would not be coming that day. The reason given why I was not called earlier was because the technician had dropped his phone in the water.

Terrible customer service and lack of accountability. I cancelled another appointment I had schedule to save myself another potentially wasted day.
