We can't say enough about how extremely pleased we were to work with Eddie! He is a great plumber and honest. He was very prompt to respond to my yelp inquiry about how much it would cost to fix a kitchen sink overflowing problem. He contacted us and gave us a reasonable quote with no hidden fees. Eddie quickly scheduled us for a next day appointment. He did have to reschedule our original appointment due to having had an unforeseen complication with the previous job/appointment with another client. He said that a pipe had broken, and he had to wait for Cal-Water to turn off the water. We appreciated him contacting us and rescheduling our appointment for the next day. He even gave us a discount for the inconvenience.

Eddie showed up the next day just like he said he would. He was polite and very professional when he showed up wearing his mask because of the COVID19 circumstance. He quickly diagnosed our plumbing issue as a grease plug. He was able to get our kitchen sink and the draining pipe for laundry washer cleared out and in good working order.

We then asked, him since he was already at our house, how much it would cost to get the kitchen faucet replaced. He gave us a reasonable quote so we also hired him to replace our kitchen faucet. He was unable to do it the same day since he had other jobs, but he scheduled an appointment to do this three days later.

On the second appointment, once again he showed up when he said he would, and he replaced our faucet that is now working great!! Our old faucet had little water pressure. One of the shut off valves needed to be replaced due to it being old and rusty and it nearly broke. He showed us the problem and asked if we would like it to be replaced for a small additional fee. We appreciate him showing us the problem and asking if we wanted it replaced, instead of just doing it and then charging us what we would have assumed was a hidden fee. We appreciate that he is very honest and up front with fees. We hate when people say they will charge you a set amount only to give you a different price later on.

Eddie was very honest and reasonable in his fees for services. So much so that we asked him to give us a quote for re-piping our entire house. We appreciate that he didn't just give a price off the top of his head when we asked him. He looked around the house to see what would need to be replaced, and he later gave us an informed and reasonable quote. As mentioned before, we were very pleased to work with Eddie, and we would recommend him to others.

Very reasonable pricing and keeps great communication on arrival times and necessary parts. He even called manufacturer of my hot water heater and got my parts warrantied and sent out the next day. Highly recommend Eddie.

Our kitchen sink had a nasty grease clog. After a weekend of trying to fix it we decided to call in a professional. Eddie responded so quickly and gave us a reasonable quote. Eddie is a life saver!!! Had a backup into my kitchen sink that was pretty disgusting and it quickly became evident that it was going to require a professional. Eddie was the quickest to respond to me when I reached out to different companies here on Yelp. He also didn't disregard me like another company did because they felt it was time sensitive (which it was yes but I knew I would have to work around my own schedule) and they weren't going to be available so they just completely turned me away. I wound up having to wait about 4 days from when I initially reached out which was fine with me. When I told Eddie the problem, he gave me a quote (which was exactly what I ended up paying at the end) and we continued to discuss from there to arrange times. I've luckily never had to deal with too many home repairs but I know that a plumbing issue seems to be the most daunting and depending on what it is some of the most expensive. I was really dreading an exorbitant cost or worse, the issue turning out to be more than initially anticipated. This was not the case thankfully and the price I paid was absolutely more than worth it. Not just for the fact the clog in the drain was fixed but that Eddie was so nice, informative, and responsive. He was very professional and VERY efficient. I would highly recommend Eddie and Tradition Plumbing to anyone!

Tradition Plumbing did a great job with the few fixes that I needed. This included repairing our sink disposal leakage, re-installing the outdated piping in front of the home and many other items that were in our home inspection. I'd recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services!

Eddie is the best plumber in Bakersfield hands down, he returns calls, show up when he says he will and does the job right the first time. Needed a new water heater, bought one at a local warehouse store and Eddie installed it for me and had the hot water running before the wife got back from shopping. Happy wife, happy man. Don't bother calling anyone else, Eddie is the best.
