I called up Mark at Trademark Plumbing to get a second opinion on a sewer emergency that occurred at my house. The first company said I had plant roots growing in the sewage pipe and I had to get my driveway and the street torn up and pipe replaced for about $30,000. Mark came out and ran a camera down my pipe and broke up the roots for $500. He is an honest, friendly, and hard working plumber unlike the first company I used. I couldn't recommend him more!

Mark is one of the best tradesmen I've ever worked with. I can't recommend him more strongly and there are many reasons.

I'll list a few:
-One of the most thoughtful plumbers and trades I've ever worked with. A real thinker when it comes to providing quality and value. Ponders the right approach and the future implications. Suggests a better way to do things that enables future flexibility and does so when the timing results in a much lower cost.
-Fair and transparent pricing. Far superior in this regard to most trades I've ever worked with.
-When you have a *real* emergency willing to take care of you. I cannot tell you how important this is.
-An all around upstanding fellow that I'd trust with my house keys and not stay awake at night worried about it.

If I could give Mark 10 stars, I would. We have done two fairly sizable remodels and Mark was our plumber on both with different contractors. Mark is hands down the best plumber around. He is incredibly pleasant to work with, professional, and highly skilled. His prices are fair and his customer service is outstanding. Both of the contractors we worked with have the utmost regard for Mark as well. I normally do not fill out Yelp reviews, but I was recommending Mark to one of my neighbors and was going to forward the reviews as I was sure they were all 5's. I really cannot imagine who would ever give mark less than a 5. When Is noticed he had one review that was less a 5, I decided I had to write a review. Seriously, if you need a plumber, you cannot go wrong with Mark.

After moving into our new house, we've had a series of surprises with our plumbing (welcome to the Bay Area!). After trying several different plumbers, Mark ofTrademark Plumbing has become our go-to person. He's really trustworthy, straightforward, responsive, and does quality work.

Here are a few examples. For a major leak issue in our house (coming down the walls of our main hallway), a few earlier plumbers couldn't fix the problem, either saying that there wasn't a problem, or insisting that all the drywall needed to be removed before proceeding. Mark was able to quickly diagnose the problem and solve it with only a small opening in the drywall in an inconspicuous location.

Mark has also helped us hook up a new gas line for a gas dryer unit, as well as repair a leak in our water supply lines from our washer dryer. We'd definitely try and work with Mark again for any other plumbing needs.

Mark and his team worked on a bathroom remodel for us. He was easy to work with, communicative, and did not take any shortcuts. It's been over a year and everything is still working perfectly (new vanity, sink and faucet, new bath, bath faucet, shower head and controls).

We recently had him come over to assess two other issues in our home (a stuck faucet, and a persistent issue with sewage smell from the washing machine drain) and he was thorough in analyzing the problem and worked with me to define the scope of the project based on our budget and goals. Then, he jumped into action and figured out a time to complete the job that worked well for my family, and helps us move fast. Highly recommended.

I am sorely disappointed in Mark. I paid him approx. 20K during my remodel over 2 years. Before this remodel he worked on my previous house on a bathroom addition. He really let me down on two counts. After finishing two bathrooms, a laundry room and tankless water heater he point blank told me that I should not expect him to work on my kitchen because he can get double what he usually charges from an Atherton client. Apparently he quoted double what he usually charges for the job and client accepted without blinking. He also quoted minimum 6K for a new kitchen. Well, I got it done for 4K. The other day my main line was backed up inundated my bathroom. Because Mark left me with no clean-out access, I ended up paying $700 to get the toilet out so Roto Rooter can access the main. On top of that I get no warranty because they could only use a 2 inch scraper or whatever they call that. Now it will cost me $1200 to install a clean-out access. I am very upset about this.

Thank you Trademark!!! You guys are the best. Our business, had a late night holiday emergency and couldn't get our regular plumbers in on such short notice. A flooded bathroom during operating hours at our busiest time of year- what a nightmare! Not only was Trademark accommodating of our time, professional and friendly, but also fairly priced.
