Recommended Customer Reviews

The work they did for us was great, and the cost was in line with what they estimated. I would recommend them based on the work, friendliness, and cost alone, but I really want to give them a shout out for continuing to help us with issues that came up with our new windows and door, long after the job was complete. They responded right away, multiple times, and coordinated work with the windows/door dealer. Carmen did an excellent job finishing everything up (again), and we are so grateful.

I want to give a big shout out to Trace, Jason and crew!
They did a great job fixing a dry rot problem, and are they are doing a really quick request to repair other things so we can sell our house by closing (short notice to Trace's team).
Thanks for being so accommodating and going over and above!

Trace and his team have been fantastic! They've now done several projects for us, from attic vents to electrical fixes, new porch/porch repair and basement work. Every project is smooth and easy, and everyone who's worked on our home has been professional and courteous. Trace's proposals come in at reasonable bid prices and stay on budget (and the time frame!) for projects. We definitely plan to keep using Trace and his crew on future projects as we look to remodel our kitchen, etc. in future.

Great remodel on our kitchen. Worked with us to get the price right, we never felt like we were being upsold, which is a huge deal for us. All work was quality and on time. Came in under a budget we found reasonable in the first place. Every worker was someone we were happy to have in our home.
There was an issue with the quality of the work done on our bathroom at one point and the whole thing got redone, after close of contract, at no additional cost. I can't ask for much more than owning up to mistakes and making them right, because mistakes always happen on complex jobs.

We wanted some work done on the house before selling. Trace told us a max of 6 weeks and a not to exceed budget of $10,500. SIX MONTHS LATER, the work was still not complete. Wanted to charge us over $22,000! Fired him (paid him his ""not to exceed"" amount) and hired someone else. We missed the selling season, but at least we are rid of his series of excuses, poor workmanship, and overcharges. He tried to charge us for work we had not contracted for and did not want done (like changing old electrical 3 prong outlets to nice shiny new ones in a completely different part of the house).

My wife and I purchased our home in March 2013. As with many homes in NEPO, it was a recently renovated home from the '20s, but incomplete. The garage needed a new bottom sill plate, which seemed like the perfect project to ""test"" a contractor on, so I called multiple contractors for a bid, including Trace. Trace was quick to respond to our request, provided a professional quote with different options for how to approach the work. We selected him over others as his quote was more reasonable (by 20%), his quote more detailed (which demonstrated his knowledge/experience) and his lead time was shorter. His team (Tim and Jose), performed the work during the super cold-spell we had in January and completed the work on time and on budget. My garage is fixed and there hasn't been any issues with the work.
With the garage project completed, we felt confident in Trace's approach and team to contract with them to finish our basement. This being a larger project, I spent months deliberating on multiple designs with varying materials. Trace was very accommodating of our ""flip-flopping"" nature, providing multiple quotes for each of the options. Once my wife and I settled on the design/materials, Trace's team was quick to spring into action. During the project, there were a few small, unexpected increases in project scope related foundation sealing, but these were few and limited. As with the garage, the project was completed on time and on budget. We now have a wonderful, thermally controlled, ""finished storage"" media/play room.

Don't waste your time or money on these guys. They sent their project manager out to bid on numerous projects related to a facelift I was performing on a house I manage in a Trust. Never heard back for several weeks until he wanted to bring back ""Trace""; his boss. (Must have lost a bid on a more lucrative job they were counting on). Trace and Tony came out, wasted another 1 1/2 hours of my time and missed numerous details. I tried to call him later that night to ""trash"" his bid. Called him again the next day. Never returned my call. Sent me an e-mail saying they couldn't bid. I am an accomplished retired M&A executive and negotiate tight deals. I tried to call him to let him go. Called him again and he didn't return my call. A small, unprofessional player. Review his ratings. Too many ""B""s, ""C""s and mediocre ratings. Don't waste your time.

Exceptional work! Dedicated workers! Professional!
Tim, Trace's right hand man, is amazing! He can fix any problem.
He's honest, reliable and skilled! Highly recommend!
