I've worked with Gilbert from Tough Guys Plumber for several years now. I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable, honest and fair with his pricing. Being a home builder I have worked with many of the big name plumbers in the area and have stuck with Tough Guys for many years now. In addition he takes care of any needs at my personal home and does an exceptional job. I recommend him highly!

We called Tough Guys Plumbing to ask if there were any appointments available on Saturday. They said yes and let us know what time they would be here. He showed up and spent less than 5 mins looking at the tankless hot water heater and said there was nothing he could do. We asked how much for the service call and much to our surprise, after speaking with his boss, he said it would be $195. $195 to come out glance at the water heater and say sorry I can't help you. We asked him to call his boss. His boss said the fee was because we came out on a Saturday and everyone is needing emergency services for old water heaters. Ours is three years old so that was not our case. We get that it's the weekend, but charging someone $195 after spending less than 10 mins at their house, not fixing anything or even remotely breaking a sweat is price gouging at its finest. $75 would have been more reasonable even though no rrpaors weee even attempted.

The boss eventually said not to worry about it because he wasn't going to argue. We had no problem paying a normal service fee but not a ridiculous attempt at gouging.

We were actually going to try to use the to install the new unit. No thank you, Tough Guys plumbing. Nice to take advantage of people at a time like this.

I rarely have a need for plumbing work so to find these guys were truly a blessing. Recently I opened The WaterTree in Hutto and needed specialty work done to accommodate the filtration system and set up for a water fill station. I tried several other plumbers with no luck to get the job done. Tough Guys came through and built the custom setup and made it look seamless and easy. The custom pipe installation, as well as the commercial meter, and handwash station were installed properly and looks fantastic. Tough Guys Plumbing is fast, efficient, and very reliable. I will use their services again and I highly recommend them for commercial and residential plumbing needs.
