I had a fantastic experience, the estimator was friendly and fast and gave me GOOD news. Had a crew out within a couple hours, they too were friendly and competent and quick. It cost much less than I feared, hundreds instead of thousands. Fixed the bathroom sink feed and the water heater. Indoor plumbing is great and even better with hot water.

We were incredibly disappointed by the work from Touchstone Plumbing. Hiring them resulted in water damage, an unusable shower, possible mold, and what will likely cost us thousands of dollars and countless hours of stress.

We hired them and they sent "one of their best guys" to install new handles to our shower and tighten everything up.

The next morning while showering the middle handle wasn't turning the water fully into 'shower mode,' and after a few right turns popped off mid shower and water poured out and into our wall for a few seconds.

I've already dealt with mold in a past apartment and have had health problems because of it. This is the first home I've owned and have been so careful with.

We called the next day after the handle popped off and they came by and agreed it wasn't done right. We asked for their insurance and he said they'd get back to us. They eventually gave us contact info to their insurance after weeks of requesting it.

The remediation guys their insurance recommended ($100 out of pocket) said it wasn't good, agreed there was water back there, but it 'wasn't catastrophic enough for insurance to cover.'

We now have spent countless hours trying to figure out what to do, and it's clear we'll have to remediate ourselves. We've been running a fan and a dehumidifier for over a month and recently scoped back there and the drywall behind the tub is still soaked.

They have yet to reach back out or refund us for the original cost or anything. I'm truly disappointed, and cannot recommend them in any capacity.

I'm so disappointed. I was understanding when they didn't show up as planned, and didn't call me back. I waited then called again. The plumber that did the job was terrific. He was polite, he snaked the drain and was in and out of here in less than 20 minutes. It was the shock of the bill for $150 that bowled me over. Guess I should have called one of the other $89 plumbers that I saw advertised. It never occurred to me that the price would be that much different. Learned my lesson.

They charge by time required, not by the book, and they always come in much lower than I expect based on plumbers I have used from other firms. Plus every Touchstone plumber is friendly.
