Ken Roche, a licensed master plumber, owns Total Service PHD. Starting at just 10 years old, Ken worked alongside his dad, a licensed master plumber. Ken's expertise in plumbing is undeniable; he truly has a ""plumbing PHD"" as it is part of his heritage. For 18 years, Ken has served the Steamboat community, initially as Roche Plumbing and Heating, demonstrating their reliability. They excel in these areas: plumbing, heating, drains, and sewers. They prioritize excellent customer service, are available 24/7, and hold the highest insurance coverage in the industry. They have faced numerous challenges and are capable of tackling any job.

Ken Roche earned his Masters License at just 25 years old and launched Roche Plumbing & Heating in 1994. Under Ken's guidance, the business expanded rapidly, transitioning from custom homes and condos to full-service plumbing. In 1997, he started Core Bore for concrete demolition, later selling it in 2001 to launch ""Monsters of the Underground"". He expanded into Roche Trenchless Plumbing in 2001, using state-of-the-art video equipment, locators, and high-pressure jetters to resolve complex drain and sewer challenges. This innovative approach allows his skilled team to line existing pipes with top-quality epoxy and polyester, repairing old sewers without excavation. Today, the business is known as Total Service P.H.D., highlighting the diverse scope of work available.

Being the son of a master plumber and general contractor, Ken Roche is destined for this profession. Originally from upstate New York, Ken graduated from Niagara University in 1991 and moved to Steamboat Springs to embrace the ""ski bum"" lifestyle. Like many, he soon realized that the ""lifestyle"" was not what it seemed and sought stable employment. He turned back to the profession he was most familiar with: plumbing. He earned his Masters License at 25 and started Roche Plumbing & Heating in 1994, later transforming it into Total Service, PHD. Ken's ""one call does it all"" philosophy at Total Service covers all aspects, from major excavation and sewer repairs to perimeter drains and septic systems. His experienced team is ready to manage it all with a single phone call. This also encompasses general contracting for extensive flood damage from frozen and burst pipes.
