At the helm of Total Service PHD is Ken Roche, a master plumber with a license. From the age of 10, Ken was immersed in plumbing, learning from his father, a licensed master plumber. It's fair to say that plumbing is in Ken's DNA, earning him the title of ""plumbing PHD"". For 18 years, Ken has served the Steamboat community, initially as Roche Plumbing and Heating, demonstrating their reliability. They are proficient in plumbing, heating, drain, and sewer solutions. They prioritize excellent customer service, are available 24/7, and hold the highest insurance coverage in the industry. They have seen it all and are ready to manage any plumbing issue.

Ken received his Masters License at a young age of 25, establishing Roche Plumbing & Heating in 1994. Under Ken's guidance, the business expanded rapidly, transitioning from custom homes and condos to full-service plumbing. In 1997, he ventured into concrete demolition with Core Bore, but sold it in 2001 to create ""Monsters of the Underground"". In 2001, he expanded his services to Roche Trenchless Plumbing, utilizing advanced video technology, locators, and high-pressure jetters to tackle tough drain and sewer issues. This method enables his expert team to apply high-grade epoxy and polyester lining to existing pipes, fixing old sewers without the need for digging. Today, the business is known as Total Service P.H.D., highlighting the diverse scope of work available.

Being the son of a master plumber and general contractor, Ken Roche is destined for this profession. Ken hails from upstate New York, graduated from Niagara University in 1991, and relocated to Steamboat Springs to try out the ""ski bum"" lifestyle. As with many, he discovered that the ""lifestyle"" was not as appealing as it appeared and needed to find steady work. He turned back to the profession he was most familiar with: plumbing. At the age of 25, he secured his Masters License and launched Roche Plumbing & Heating in 1994, ultimately rebranding to Total Service, PHD. With Total Service, Ken follows a ""one call does it all"" approach, managing everything from significant excavation and sewer repairs to perimeter drains and septic systems. His skilled team is prepared to handle everything with just one phone call. This also encompasses general contracting for extensive flood damage from frozen and burst pipes.
