Gus and his guys did a fantastic job at repairing our drywall from a pinhole leak we recently had. I was a bit picky on the texture and wanted to make sure it matched with the rest of the ceiling, so they took their time to make it just right. They also added a couple of recessed lights for us as well! And in order to save on costs, I purchased the can lights myself which helped a bit with our budget. His quote was very reasonable and competitive too! Thank you Gus, we'll be in touch soon for more household repairs.

Gus and his co-worker Cesar did awesome job for our water damage repair on our celling. Gus helped with patching and Cesar helped with painting. Gus covered my floor and stuff very carefully before he started. And Cesar cleaned up everything carefully before he left. They charged very reasonable and they are very detailed. They done everything perfectly and I'm glad I had them to do this job but not someone else. I have before and after pics which can show how amazing they are. Highly recommended to you and your family.

We hired Gus to do some work around the house, like grouting and a few other small things. He sent someone else to do the work that was super slow and spend so many hours not doing the work. We had a home inspection that failed because of him. We had to hire someone else to redo all the work. We contacted Gus and he was very uncooperative. We have called him a number of times and he won't return our call. Beware of this guy!

I have not had any luck with getting someone out to put in a screen - either too expensive, non-responsive, or booked way too far out. However, Gus called me back promptly and went above and beyond, without me even asking. He offered to pickup the product at the local Home Depot and was willing to look into the specs for me, since he is definitely more knowledge than I in this area - just to list a few. If you are in need of someone honest, punctual, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced ""Handyman Matters of Mission Viejo"" should be your first call, make sure to speak with Gus. A+ experience. NOTE: I am not too big on writing reviews and only do so when I feel someone or some company has far exceeded any expectations I could have had going into it, which is the case here.

Our Property Manager arranged for Gus to cap off a pony wall (Approx. 10') on our rental property in Laguna Beach. I don't know what the conversation was between the two, but when I went to the property to see how it looked I was horribly shocked. They put indoor porcelain tile with dark brown grout on top of the off-while pony wall!! I couldn't believe that any contractor would even think to do this kind of trashy work and I would not be at all surprised if they'd used the tile and grout from a previous job and they charged us $350. When I talked to Gus about it, his response was that the work had been done and we'd have to pay to fix it. We did pay someone else to fix it and needless to say, I would NEVER use him or refer him. It's too bad because we were looking for a trustworthy and competent handyman for the property.
