This company sent an apprentice to conduct an emergency plumbing repair on his own in east Westwood Cincinnati. As he struggled to figure out what he was doing after only putting in an hour or two daily over the course of four days- I asked if he was licensed and what company he worked for- he refused to confirm. He also refused to confirm his name. Suddenly another man showed up with a jacket that said TOTAL PRO & the new guy that randomly showed up is on their website in company photos that also refused to state his name and confirm he worked for TOTAL PRO . This company was hired by my landlord who is a slumlord and told me he didn't have to tell me his name because he doesn't do business with me directly as he left his apprentice in my house ALONE when only a licensed plumber is permitted to do the work when there are orders issued by the city of Cincinnati building and codes department. Apprentices are not permitted to complete the work. They left very swiftly when I took a picture of his license plate and called the police so I could see if they were actually licensed. Horrible experience, my pipes were left wide open & this is now day 5 without water because I've had an unlicensed unknown man in my house for the past week with not a clue as to how to fix a major repair like what was going on. The apprentice had a phone number he texted me on and on the voicemail it states ""Jason something"" I did get a picture of him but still have no idea who this man was. ID ATTACH PICTURES AND VIDEOS IF I COULD!!
This is my second time having the company come out for a backed up pipe. I go through old republic and I've had to pay a $100 deposit twice for the guy to say nothing is wrong. This is a ridiculous company!
Total Plumbing Pro has no customer service. We had a missed appointment with them to do some plumbing work. The missed appointment was my fault and apologized to that fact and requested an appointment reschedule for the following week. I thought all was fine, however I reached back out to them on the very next Monday by text. My final text and phone call the following Friday were cordial, but ignored until the Friday late morning. On Friday, I was told told by Valerie by text to call the warranty company they represent and they were not going to do the service.
We have a Ring camera video showing the technician showing up during the missed appointment and my wife talking to him over the speaker. The technician walked away from the door ignoring my wife as she was trying to discuss an alternative option in an adult-like manner. He was not interested and turned his back.
I gave Total Pro Plumbing the benefit of the doubt to come out to do the service and receive a positive review from me. I think they need a positive review and experience more than anything else at this point. In addition, I informed them that if they wanted another service fee for coming over, I would have paid since the missed appointment was my fault (there is text to this fact as proof).
The company reviews on Yelp are overwhelmingly negative for a reason and unfortunately this went the same route as most other reviews for them. I did check the BBB and they show B- probably for the same reason/s.
Customer service is the lifeblood of any business such as this, but they chose to ignore the customer and resolve the issue regardless of fault. I've been a business owner for 25 years and respect my clients enough to engage in any problem solving to create long lasting relationships.
Bottom line: don't waste your time on this company as they do not care about customers or customer service. Just know the company can't handle a simple scheduling conflict to resolve an issue and would rather ignore the situation. This company will eventually fail in today's social media world.
Sent out by my home warranty company. poor job installing my tankless heater, and 3 months later when I had issues they claimed they'd work with me to fix it. It's been 3 months and I haven't heard anything from them even after reaching out to to them to find out what's going on. I had to replace it with a tank myself just so I'd have hot water after waiting 2 weeks trusting they'd do what they said they would. As another plumber I know would say ""lying son *itches""
Do not use the company. I didn't even choose them, my home warranty company did. The plumbers called and said they would be to my home in 30 mins, and they showed up an hour and 15 mins later. When the plumbers came, they looked at the three faucets, and actually told me I could buy Gorilla glue to fix one of the faucets. Told me they need to order parts, and it would take a few days. That was a week ago, called them a few days after they left my home and left a voicemail, but got no response, and actually called the company back. One plumber was on the phone for about 5 mins in my home, while I just stood there.
My warranty company First American sent this company to my house to fix a sump pump in my crawl space. If you experience this tell them asap to send another company! This company came to my house their plumber they sent spent a whole whopping 10 minutes ""fixing"" my sump pump. I was told my pump was fixed and I had a broken footer tile in my crawl space. Naturally I had a company come out to give me an estimate to fix this broken footer tile and thankfully I ended up with an honest person who told me it wasn't broken at all and that my sump pump needed replaced and wasn't working. I contacted my warranty company to let them know and they again had this company contact me. I informed then there was standing water now since there had been rainfall since there last plumber came out they refused to come out until the water was out. I tried to explain that my sump pump wasn't fixed in the first place wheb there plumber came out and that's why I was left with the standing water. I went back and forth with my warranty company for 2 weeks in regards to the standing water that I didn't feel was my responsibility to remove since this company failed at their job. Finally they sent a whole different company out who verified that not only did the sump pump need replaced to begin with. But also the sump pump was in such bad shape it was popping the circuit breaker so when this company came out and ""fixed"" my sump pump there was no power even going to the pump. Now thankfully to the second company that was sent I have a working sump pump but unfortunately I'm left with having to hire a company to spray for mold due to the water that sat for over 2 weeks because of this company and First American Home Warranty. Steer clear of both and save yourself the headache.
M K.Worst plumbing company ever. I would do the job myself before I ever go to them again. Unpleasant and unprofessional acting staff. Tina has no place talking to the customers. Only caused more frustration and never resolved the issue.
We had a stopped up main line overflowing into our basement, and TOTAL PRO PLUMBING are the ones who my warranty company called to fix it. The Receptionist that takes there calls and sets there appointments ""TINA"" is a real peach, I liked her the moment we started talking, she was very understanding of our issue, and did her level best to try to get someone out that night, unfortunately it just wasn't in the cards for us lol, but they showed up bright and early the next morning and had it all fixed up and running with in the hour, these gentlemen were very professional, and courteous, and I would use them again in the future.
Had Total Pro do a drain cleaning. Great service, very professional and followed COVID protocol to the letter. I would recommend to anyone!!
Great company!
Company insisted I pay them before they completed any work and were rude when I told them that was unacceptable. Spoke to 2 separate customer service representatives with terrible attitudes. Then to go along with all of that they lied to the home warranty provider and said they completed the work. Would suggest to call them for nothing as that's about all they are good for
