They empathized with my emergency and did their best for a quick solution. Thanks Branda!

$650 an hour!
Tech was there 45 minutes to let me know I have a gas leak.
$487 invoice!
No fix! No follow up!
I hope this helps to prevent others from being taken advantage of...

Comletely useless....plumber showed up on job site and spent an hour at Lowe's lookin for parts, but charged me for 2 hours for a 1 hour simple fix, which He didn't even fix the main problem, so basically he did half the work and then expected to be paid in full. But then when I called the owner to see if I could get half of the hourly rate back he spouted off a bunch of s**t about thats just part of the cost. I dont pay y'all to wander around Lowe's for an hour, but here we are and I'm out 150$ worth of actual honest work....totally pitiful

Requested service for 2 frozen outdoor faucets. Was quoted $237....got charged $500 by adding all kinds of unfair extras which were never discussed, such as 2x + mark up for faucet valves ( retail $35 ea, charge $84 ea) extra time ( did not have the valves on the truck, so had to go get them. Travel time to Decatur is 10 minutes, charged an extra hour and a half at @ $165.00 per hour) When back, it took him 15 minutes to put them in.
When confronting the owner he said charges were fair. So apparently he engages in a very dishonest modus operandi. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
BUYER BEWARE.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
First, I apologize for the lengthy review, but consumers need to know what happened here. I'd also like to add that I have heard good reports about this company, prior to my dealing with them. I am the new owner of this house. During the sale of this house, a new septic system had to be installed. Total Plumbing Solutions was hired by previous owner. During install, TPS cut the propane and electrical lines. TPS repaired propane line, and contracted out electrical. 3 months after repair, when I ordered propane because the tank ran empty, a leak test revealed a substantial leak in the propane line from the tank to the house. My gas was shut off, right before the big ice storm and sub freezing temperatures. I contacted TPS. The staff I spoke to were very friendly. The plumber assigned to come out and inspect the job informed me the septic system job took weeks to complete, versus a 3 day estimated time of completion, that they lost money on the job, what happened during the install and that they had to repair the propane line. When asked, they did not perform a pressure/leak test on the line after making the repair. But, only turned the gas back on and inspected the repair for any leaks. The plumber told me the propane line repair was no longer under warranty and I would have to pay for all services going forward. All I wanted was for TPS to dig up the line that was repaired and confirm the leak was or was not associated with their repair job. If the leak was not associated with the repair, I would have been willing to hire this company to make the repair. Believing the leak was associated with the repair during the septic system install, I spoke with the owner, Joe Gillespie, by phone. Joe Gillespie did not want to hear anything I had to say about how I believed the leak would be related to the repaired propane line. He was short, would cut off my conversation, and even claimed i was just calling to get a free service from his company and it was not going to happen. However, he did say if I paid him, he would come out and fix the line. Well, I refused to hire TPS for this job. I had to endure the storms at a relatives house, and after the storms, had another plumbing company inspect and make the repairs. Turned out TPS used water couplings, instead of flared gas couplings to repair the line. In addition, they laid the copper line between electrical and water conduit, pinching the copper tubing. This was poor workmanship, not to mention using components for a gas line that are not allowed to be used, and most importantly, placing myself and my family in danger. Part of the warranty on this new septic system is a 2 year service contract with TPS for septic inspections (as required by county). TPS will not be performing these inspections, and i am willing to pay another plumber to perform this inspection. TPS will never get any future business from me. I am forwarding a report to the State for review.
Service: Repair pipe

Prompt courteous professional service. A live person answers the phone! Mr. Gillespie returned my call right away; repaired my water heater quickly and kept me informed throughout the process.
