William came out and replaced an ancient faucet and the plumbing in our upstairs tub. He also cleaned out the sewer lateral.

Whoever originally installed the tub had done a real Frankenstein job and it was a pretty complicated repair/replacement, lots of parts/pipes that no one uses or even makes anymore. After an assessment William worked really hard to track down all the necessary parts and kept us updated throughout the process.

It was an complicated fix but he did a great job for a fair price!

William was friendly, professional and just all-around on it! We're planning to hire this company again!

Billy and his team are HIGHLY professional, reliable, and thorough in their work. I needed a line installed to connect a water line to our fridge; it was fairly complicated as the line had to go from downstairs to upstairs. In the free estimate he provided options, and ultimately found a creative solution - better than expected. They're reasonably priced too! Definitely will be working with them again.

The waterline from the meter at the curb to our house sprung a major leak coming through the sidewalk. TPS responded quickly, came out and gave an honest assessment and a very fair estimate. , so we went with them. TPS, came out on a Sunday b/c we really needed the water back on. They arrived nice and early and were done before 4:00pm. Nice guys, very professional. Totally happy with their work and will use them again in the future.

Found out our washer hookup was rusted out the day our new washer was supposed to be installed. Called Total Plumbing Services and they came over same day to evaluate and fix. Fix looks great, service was efficient, and William was extremely professional and pleasant. The whole experience made what could have been a real pain as easy as possible.

I highly recommend Total Plumbing Services based on my experience hiring them to do some plumbing work for me earlier this month. I'm remodeling my kitchen and I ran into an issue of the existing drain waste arm being too high for the new deeper sink that I installed. The waste arm was just barely low enough for the old sink we had, and with our new sink strainer baskets dropping 2-3"" lower, the bottoms were now level with the waste arm and the dishwasher pump wasn't strong enough to drain the dishwasher effectively when connected with the new drain plumbing. We have an old house with old galvanized pipes, and cutting into the wall and installing a new tee lower down on the rusty stack felt a bit beyond my own DIY abilities. So I put out a request for quotes to several plumbers on Yelp who all had great reviews.

I ended up contacting 14 plumbers, and Billy stood out among them for his organization and attention to detail. He came out to check out my project a day after I submitted the request for quotes, wore a mask and shoe covers, and was thorough in assessing the scope of work and listening to what I had already done so he could suggest the best course of action for what I actually needed, not just what he could do. Not only was he extremely professional, but he was also personable and friendly throughout our communication. His quote ended up being the most reasonable of the 8 that I received, partly because he was willing to price out just the rough-in work itself and allow me to do the stuff I know how to do (move the sink out of the way beforehand, patch the drywall, reconnect the new waste arm to the sink drain pipes) in order to save on cost.

Billy came by to do the job a week later, as scheduled and clearly communicated. After he cut into the wall, he ran into an unexpected issue when he found that the vent pipe above the existing tee was corroded and leaking sewage air into the wall of the house. He wasn't sure at first how far the damaged old pipe would extend, but he communicated what he found clearly, along with what the potential solutions would be. He got my consent to do some more exploration outside of the original scope of work, and soon identified how much additional pipe would need to be replaced in order to correctly solve the issue. He made sure I gave the okay before he proceeded with replacing a significant amount of the corroded galvanized steel drain pipe with new ABS pipe in addition to lowering the sanitary tee. Even with the complication and having to run out to the store to grab a specific coupling part, Billy was done in less than 2 hours. He did a great job of cleaning up the area around the work site, and even honored his original quote for the final cost even though I was prepared to pay more for the additional work done. I reconnected the hookups to the sink drain after he was done, and everything is working great now. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Billy at Total Plumbing Services with any other plumbing needs.

I rarely post reviews but I am stepping out of my comfort zone to write this review for Total Plumbing Services. After various plumbing services came by to check out my home and never get back to me with an estimate (even though I would contact and hound them to do so), I was beginning to lose hope for a big job: re-piping my ""new"" hundred year-old Bay Area home. I was frustrated, but now I'm thankful those other plumbers flaked out because I found Total Plumbing Services. Billy and the crew were some of kindest, funniest, and honest people I've ever worked with. They were reliable, efficient, and diligent. It felt like family tbh. I cannot recommend them enough to everyone in the Bay. They really saved my family and didn't try to price gouge us or add on charges. I was so relieved to have met them and I will be calling them back for every and all of my plumbing needs. Do yourself a favor and call Total Plumbing Services. You will not regret it.

Also that response time and percentage is no Joke. They were THE most responsive and expedient plumbing service I contacted... and trust me I contacted a lot.

Had to replace a kitchen faucet, and the TaskRabbit I had previously hired couldn't get the nut out (it had sunk into the wood underneath). He had a plan that sounded complicated and would have taken hours. I called these guys and they had same-day availability. The plumber Roberto came out, used his saw-cutter to cut the old faucet out from the top, and got the job done. Price was $325 for 1.5 hours of work. When you consider the commute time added to that, that is a very reasonable price. I'm happy with their service and would hire them again.
