Late on a Sunday night, we were suddenly without hot water, the water pressure dropped, and an odd buzzing noise occurred whenever we turned on the faucets. We called Total Plumbing Services on Monday morning, having found them via the internet, and they came out immediately. By two in the afternoon, we had a new water heater and trip relief valve installed, the buzzing diagnosed (air in water line) and cured, and general helpful advisement about other matters that had concerned us. Roberto was wonderful to work with. We highly recommend Total Plumbing Services, in Oakland.

Total Plumbing does good, clean work, at a reasonable price. Great job on the Moen Flo smart water shutoff install (they are part of the Moen Pro network).
We will be calling them for all our plumbing needs. Plus, they are are a family business and dog friendly, which is a huge relief.

I was so fortunate to come across Billy to help the water heater leak at my rental unit. The water heater was just 4 years old and still under warranty, so I can have a replacement at HD. The trouble was they need to have the old unit in order to proceed with replacement. Billy went out his way to deal with HD and sticked to the end! He and his team are highly skilled and installed the new water heater in a breeze. He also added the earth quake straps to comply to code. Highly recommended for the trust worthy plumbing service. Billy is super friendly and knowledgeable with a reasonable cost!

Contacted the owner Billy and he came out as soon as possible to fix our clogged drain and reattach our garbage disposal.
He was out of town on a weekend when I called with another emergency and although he couldn't come, he texted me with helpful suggestions on how to fix the problem.

Carlos responded within 10 minutes and came to my house an hour later at night for an inspection of a leaking gas pipe, as our gas had been turned off by PG&E. He completed the repair the next day for a fair price. Very friendly and professional service. I recommend TPS highly.
