We called with an emergency plumbing issue. The operator was pretty rude but we figured that wasn't a big deal given our situation. When someone from their team then called us, which we appreciated, he quoted $450/hr, plus travel time pay for the plumbing service. Now I don't know if we had been transported to the year 2090 where money is different, but in 2020 that's considered extortion and taking advantage.

I called TLC at 11:30 pm the night before Christmas Eve! Shane called back immediately and wanted to see pictures and he FaceTime'd me! Said if we had any issues he would come at anytime! We determined it would fine for him to come in the am. He was here at the time he stated Christmas Eve! He brought Chris and Fernando to help who were diligent and finished in half the time!
The process took less time than he estimated and he was very diligent on making sure everything worked before they left! They were courteous, sincere and through.
Would recommend to anyone!

I've had TLC install mini splits in which they really did a stellar job. Also, then I had them replace a boiler that had caught fire and also a tankless water tank. They did a really great job, were clean, and efficient. The work they do is above and beyond.

I used TLC previously to unstop drains and they were fine. But this time I needed them to repair a tankless hot water heater line that was corroded but not really leaking yet.
During the first visit to provide an estimate, the plumber turned off my hot water supply and I discovered later didn't turn back on. So I called him and he came out an hour or so later and turned back on. That was OK, a little bit of an inconvenience for me, but he was apologetic.
Another team of plumbers came out the next week to do the repair and left the repair site messy, didn't give me a receipt detailing the work they had done (which I needed to close on my house). But worse, they did something so when the next morning I went to take a shower, I had no hot water pressure--only a dribble of hot water.
I called the office early--8:30 and the lady answering said she would call me right back. An hour later, no one had called, so I called again. The man I spoke with said he couldn't see a detailed receipt but that he would fix that and send someone out at noon. It is now 1:00 and I haven't heard from anyone at TLC and no one has shown up and no email about the receipt.
Very disappointed in them. I do not have much trust that they did the repair ($594 worth) replacing the pipe correctly since now I can't use any hot water in my home.

Please save yourself the aggravation an DO NOT USE this company.
The ""repair"" done to my hot water system on Thursday July 23 left me without circulating hot water. This worked BEFORE the technician decided that an expansion tank was in the wrong place and I foolishly PAID for him to repair this.
I notified the company on Friday July 24, was told that the quickest the technician could come out to fix his mistake was today Monday July 27. The receptionist said he would do this work BEFORE his other scheduled work. He didn't show up. I called and was rudely told that they didn't say that and I had to wait at home ALL DAY so the problem THEY caused could be fixed at their convenience.
So far I have paid hundreds of dollars and the situation has not been resolved.

A TLC tech showed up at my in-law's (retired in their mid-80's) to do a routine maintenance check on their 18-year-old HVAC rooftop unit for $180. He found a failing capacitor and the pressures were all normal. He showed the in-law's photos from his phone of rust on the condenser and mentioned that he didn't think it would make it through the end of the year. So he provided a proposal recommending a total unit replacement for $11,000-13,000. My in-laws were prepared to remove retirement funds from an IRA to pay for a replacement. I was asked by the in-laws to come out and take a look (I am a mechanical engineer with 17 years of experience in the HVAC field). The recommendation to replace the HVAC unit is out of line not to mention the cost of the proposal being extremely high. The minor rust was due to standing water in the condensation collection pan certainly not necessary for a total replacement. I made one call to another HVAC firm and got a quote of $7,000-$8,000 if I wanted the unit replaced and they recommended if it ain't broke don't replace it. I do not trust TLC and cannot recommend them.

Last summer, TLC, replaced my HVAC system ; although the techs were good, the TLC representative Rick, misrepresented the product and services, bringing the costs thousands of dollars over what it should have been

Needed a water heater replaced and called TLC. Great service knowledgeable gal on the phone. Arrived on time fixed it quickly super nice technician Ryan was amazing reviewed it with me step by step! Will use them again!

TLC diagnosed an HVAC compressor as faulty, and Rick asked for $4,500 for its replacement but only if paid for upfront the same day of the visit. Became suspicious, and asked for a second opinion from a reputable company. They determined that the compressor was just fine, but a failed capacitor was the culprit. Total repair cost: less than $200!!!!!
And incidentally, asked how much would have cost the hypothetical replacement of a new compressor on that HVAC...answer: $2,500!!!!
No explicit lessons learned are in order here...

I paid over $2200 for a water heater installation. They did not put in a drain pan. It failed Inspection. They protested the inspection to finally get it passed. I don't understand why they did not put it in to begin with as it should be. Do not recommend them. Overcharged for incomplete/half done job.
