I can't say enough positive things about Total Plumbing, Jose and his two sons Edgar and Jose, Jr. This is the second time I've used Jose's company. The first time Jose constructed a water hookup to our refrigerator icemaker. He was punctual and the cost was less than I expected. This time (Jan, 2018) they put in a new hot water heater, discovered a leak in another area while in the process, and fixed it. They also found a problem with our water pressure and fixed that as well. Always pleasant, professional, punctual and reasonably priced. Total Plumbing is my go-to company.

I needed a very old shower drain repaired because it was leaking through to the garage below the bathroom. When I called Total Plumbing to request an appointment for a weekend, they kindly told me that the following Monday is better because labor rates would be cheaper, to which I agreed since it wasn't an emergency. Just as promised, Jose came within the time frame of 8am and 9am on Monday.
In response to my question of how long the repair would take, he told me he'd have to see the leak before he could answer. True to his word, after making a neat whole in the garage ceiling and taking a look which took about an hour, I think, he told me it shouldn't take long but that he had to run out to get a part because my plumbing used really old parts that he didn't carry in his van. He wasn't gone more than an hour. Once he got back, he had to go up and down the stairs a number of times between the garage and upstairs bathroom to get his work done, but he was determined (and got his work out).
He finished around lunch time, he answered all my questions to my satisfaction and I had a chance to look at his work. He was reliable, professional thorough, and did not leave any mess behind. I highly recommend him.

My situation: A broken pipe where I tried to replace an exterior faucet on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Jose was here within an hour, assessed, explained and repaired everything perfectly. He was able to reach the pipe through interior drywall rather than knocking a hole in the exterior stucco. Before he could leave, I was already telling him about other plumbing projects we have coming up. I would recommend Total Plumbing to anyone needing expert plumbing.

I was very happy with the job Jose did. I had a broken pipe and I was without water. Very happy with the service from Jose at Total Plumbing. We had a clog in our main line to the sewer, which meant we could not use any water in the house until it was fixed. Jose answered the phone on a Saturday evening and was at our house within 20 minutes awesome job and a great value

Jose installed a farm house sink, garbage disposal and redid the pipes under the sink. I live in a mobile home and the under-sink was ""nightmarish"". Now under the sink looks GREAT!! He did a fabulous job. He is conscientious, considerate, an excellent plumber and reasonable.
