London B.I'm so grateful that our State Farm representative referred us to Total Home Services. We used them last year, so called again. When I called in for service they were very compassionate, their estimate was accurate. Dispatch let me know right away there were changes, and it was easy to schedule. Yannick and his coworker were absolutely amazing! They spent the better part of the day trouble shooting, found the problem and fixed it. The work area was clean when they left, and I felt like they really respected our home. Highly recommend. Definitely will be using them again if we need.
The most rude and unprofessional company I've ever had to deal with. The appointment was made with the warranty company but when the tech showed up, he didn't test my oven, just said he would order a new thermostat (which isn't the problem).
The company actually sent me an invoice that day with a comment from the tech that called me ""delusional"". I can't believe how sophomoric and unprofessional this company is.
Yes, my stove is still broken and I can't get a call back. I will be calling the Warranty company tomorrow to report this abysmal service.
This company is so unprofessional. Our warranty company used them for a dishwasher repair. I was told they would have the part and fix the dishwasher on the first appointment. They gave me a 8 hour window for a appointment and never showed up after I took off work. The next time they came but did not have the parts and needed to order them. After 3 weeks the parts arrived but they couldn't get me in to repair for a week. When that appointment time came again I took off work and nobody showed up. I called and nobody answered. The next day they said there was a mix up with the repair person. They could not come the next day so 2 days later I'm waiting again for the repair person my repair time was between 8-11 and it's now 11:15 nobody has called or showed up even though I was told I would be the first repair of the day today. It's unbelievable how inconsiderate they have been with my time and not communicating with me if issues.
Update now they are saying the ordered the wrong part.
Jeremy the service manager is so rude and should not be in the position that he is in. I cannot believe how badly I was treated. I set up the appointment over the phone, I specified exactly what I needed done and it did not get done. They still took my money and showed how much they don't care about their customers.
Brandy F.Mike Murphy was our service person, and he was great. Very thorough, and professional. I highly recommend his service.
I also had the pleasure of speaking with Amy the office manager, who was wonderful at helping resolve a home warranty issue.
Mindy D.They came to my home for a repair and the service person, in my opinion, was rude. They left saying they would order that part and then gave my warranty company inaccurate information. I called numerous times to talk to a service manager and got left on hold and my calls were never returned. I would not recommend this business.
Carolee B.Had to return a second time for the same issue to fix an ignition switch for my central heat. The repairman was rude and dismissive and treated us like we were trash, especially on the return call. The first call was an emergency during a snow storm when the heat went out and it took them three days to respond. So advertising 24/7 emergency services is false misleading and beyond inaccurate. They can not be reached in their office. The voicemails they leave are rushed and unintelligible. After walking around the house in the snow looking for the heat return ( it's on the roof!) he could not be bothered to even wipe his feet coming back into my home. This company was sent by my insurance and I will never allow them into my home again.
HORRIBLE COMPANY AND BUSINESS ETHICS
They sent a technician name: David after my warranty company (Amazon Home Warranty) contacted them for plumbing issue.
He came and within 5 mins he said this is not cover under your warranty and left. I was charged $60 for his 5 mins consultation. Next month, I noticed that these guys told my warranty company that they have actually worked on it and charged my warranty company (claim #43422). I told company and Warranty company sent him again (unfortunately same guy). This time warranty company told me that I won't be charged and sent me a proof I won't be charged (#42468). I talked to VP of customer relations at Amazon home warranty and he agreed that there is something fishy.
Total home service called me after a month and asked me to pay them $60 or lawyers will contact me. I don't mind paying $60 but this is matter of ethics. I should only pay $60 for your visit. You deal with warranty company rather harassing your consumer. My warranty clearly says per service call. I have 3 more properties and lots of people who are home owners who could use them. NO MORE BUSINESS FOR THIS COMPANY FROM ME AND MY FRIENDS. GET THAT.
Kristine O.Don't waste your time calling this company for any kind of service.
They dont return calls, They try to bill you for services that were not completed or ever finished and are the most unprofessional company you will ever work with.
When our washer pump went bad, we contacted Lowe's and since it was still under warranty, they had Total Appliance Service (now Total Home Services) come out to fix it. The technicians have been good, but the customer service at this company has a lot to be desired.
The first time they came out, the technician was on time and determined that a water pump needed to be ordered. He said they would call me when the pump came in. We waited a week and still hadn't heard back. When we called the company to inquire about the part, they said it came in 3 days ago and that they called us and left a message. My phone showed no indication that they had called and there certainly was no message left. Whatever. The part was in and we scheduled a date to install it.
About 4 months after the part was installed, it failed. We called Lowe's again and they again assigned Total Appliance Service to fix it. An appointment was scheduled, except this time the technician did not show up. Complaints were registered with Total Appliance and with Lowes that afternoon. Total Appliance called back the next day and again said that they called both numbers and left messages on our phones. This was not true as both phones did not show any incoming calls from them and no messages were left. Total Appliance did not recognize their mistake and made no effort to get to our home right away.
Customer communication is a problem at this company. We are currently waiting for the part to arrive, but we aren't waiting for them to call, because they never did before. We call daily to follow up on the status of the part and to schedule the appointment. Getting mad at them doesn't help. They will just tell you that they called and left messages, turning you into the bad guy, rather than trying to help you.
I will not be using this company again.
