Purchased a new A/c Gas pack and problems from first day. Two service techcs came to install They hung around for a couple of hours waiting for a part. Finaly, they went to get it, a 50=amh circut breaker. Installed in 5 minutes and they left. Next morning the A/C is not working. Tech comkes and say it is the thermostat. New one installed $244. Same one on Amazon $60 to $80. Kind enough not to charge me for a service call.. I got the salesman to drop the $244. I asked the salesman, installer ans woman in the office for a copy of theservice maual and warrantee. No results but I did find the manual online. Install is inspected and faills because gas line is not secure. Call office and I am told that Iwlould have to get someone because they cannot install naturel gas, only LP. Also told that I wuld have to pay. Ialked to saleman and he covered the $192.00 bill. I just talked to salesman and he is going to see that it gets reinspected. Whole experience has been a nightmare. Never would recommend this compay from the insltalllers, tech, salesman and officek staff. I felt that I was mislead in some areas and if I hadn't been on the saleman's case, things would not have been done for a long time. Stay away.

Scheduled first appointment which I told them Ac was not working properly, but they scheduled a maintenance. First guy was great. Said it needs coils cleaned inside. He calls and schedule an appointment for me to have it cleaned. Next guy is rude and comes in and says oh, that takes three hours and you're only scheduled for one. Now I have lost two days of work. I still have no air conditioner. They want to schedule me another appointment for a three hour visit. I am a kidney transplant patient who works full-time and nobody can keep missing work like this. Communication is poor The actual manager who has been there forever, hung up the phone on me twice. He told me to go somewhere else. I would recommend everybody does so. Customer service in America isn't what it used to be.

I live in NSB I searched for a Hayward Pool Heater warranty company. This morning two very impressive young men came to repair it. Were on time and explained everything to a tee ! They were very knowledgable and honest. I would recommend this company to anyone. I plan to use them for my Heating and AC units.

Excellent Co. to call for Plumbing problems as well. We had a collapsed drain pipe under our block home. After not having any success getting any other big named plumbing companies to come give us an estiment for over a month. I called them and a sweet lady by the name of Debbie assured me they would be out that day. The plumber James showed up as promised and said they could fix it and estimated it at the same time. They showed up on time as there were 4 of them and worked through the rain. That really impressed us! The job was done the next day and now we're just waiting for the city to send an inspector. The city dragged there feet on passing the inspections, so i called to find out why and the secretary blamed it on the plumber saying they hadn't called them to say they were done. Called Total asking them to call the city. Debbie informs me that they called that morning. Sad but true fact..... The city has earned the reputation that they deserve for being liars to the community they are supposed to serve. They say you can't fight city hall but if everyone did they might do a better job in running the best city possible to avoid a disappointed public. Thanks to Total Comfort for a professional and competent job. I hope this helps many in the Daytona Beach Fl. area.

I am surprised at such a low rating for this great company. I see it had a lot of one star ratings from several years back, which affects their overall rating. Whatever the case, my experience with them was 5 star. The sales rep, Dan, explained everything, including proper size of AC units, SEER ratings, running the copper pipes through the attic versus under the house( my AC unit is behind my house. The copper pipes had a leak in them somewhere under the house). I got a the smaller, cheaper, highly efficient unit (with a 5 year manufacturer labor and parts, plus 10year warranty both included). He explained a bigger unit would cool my house faster, but wouldn't stay on long enough to extract all the humidity out of a home in Florida. Besides the best service, they gave me the best price of the companies I interviewed. They offered easy monthly payments, but I opted to pay in full for an 1100.00 discount. Total Comfort didn't get to be the biggest AC company in the area by accident. I highly recommend them.

Call Dan Monday to get someone out for a new HVAC unit the gentleman told me he would be out Tuesday he called Tuesday and said he definitely be out Wednesday and that is the last time I heard of them very unprofessional not even a call back and now today is Friday and not even a call now I would recommend not using these guys as services

Caveat Emptor - """"Let the buyer beware."""" I have been with this company for 20 years, but in the last year something has gone awry. For my latest maintenance checkup, I re-arranged by schedule to accommodate their request for an 8-8:30 a.m. Saturday appointment. Their technician showed up 20 minutes late -- at 8:40 a.m. -- with a poor excuse for a mask hanging around his neck. I had to tell him to put it on. He replaced the air filter, with one I provided, and installed it backwards. He did not check the heating unit, although he spent 35 minutes in my basement looking at it. After he left, I checked the filter and re-installed it properly. When I tested the heater, it was no longer working (it had been the night before). I was told another technician could come out, but no sooner than 5 p.m. and would call ahead to let me know when he was on his way. He showed up at 4 p.m. unannounced. The problem was the thermostat, which the earlier technician would have known had he checked the heating unit. I was charged $240 for the new thermostat, which retails for around $50. Upon calling the company, I was told the extra $180 for the thermostat was for an extended warranty I did not want or ask for. The total bill for the thermostat, which took 15 minutes to install, was $454. I can only assume that the company has changed hands or gone through some sort of managerial change. I won't be doing business with them in the future. Too bad for them, since I need to replace both my heating and cooling units in months to come. Although I contacted both the office and billing managers neither one returned my calls.

When I stated shopping for a new air conditioner my first concern is service. I very rarely look at the price before the service. They not only honored their bid which was three months prior where everyone else was only giving me 48 to 36 hours at the price they quoted. After purchasing a new air-conditioning/heating unit from total comfort I had couple issues and they were onsite for repairs within hours of my call and one time it was Sunday night. I highly recommend Total Comfort and give them a five star rating.

We had occasion to call Total Comfort to straighten out an electrical problem and also to purchase and install a garbage disposal. Their office staff is friendly and helpful and the technicians they sent out were professional and knowledgeable. Their prices are fair and reasonable. We would not hesitate to call them again for any additional work.

I tried to switch out my HVAC thermostat myself. I couldn't get the system to work. I was exhausted after trying for over 2 hours. I called Total Comfort at 3:30 pm hot, sweating and whining to these wonderful people and a technician arrived in 3 yes 3 minutes to fix my problem. I had blown the fuse and misdirected the wires and he rewired my new thermostat. He finished in less than 25 minutes. I have done business with them before and I will use them again in the future. They are polite, professional and very knowledgeable about most anything that may need attention in your home. Now my new thermostat is cycling like it should and I will bet my electric bill will come down from efficiency. Thanks again Total Comfort!
