Worst ever. This company was referred to my home through American Home Shield, a home warranty company. My basement flooded and there were sent out by the warranty company. They replaced the Sump Pump and talked me into a battery back up for an additional $750. The Sump Pump and battery back up were never functioning and my basement contined to flood costing me $$$ very Imcompetitent. In addition I cancelled my service with the watrenty company because of them.

Sump pump died just like about everyone else in Huntley area. I have a home warranty company so you never know who you get. The warranty companies do not dispatch service on Saturday or Sunday. First thing Monday morning 8am I received a call and they told me someone would be there that day. The tech Nolan was professional, honest and did incredible work. I am already recommending them to co workers. I hope to work with them on upcoming home renovations.

Had major rains last week and my cellar had water back up into it a few inches. It is unfinished, which is a relief, or it would have been far more extensive damage. I called gobs of plumbers. When the rains poor, they are all super busy. T&C Plumbing was one I called. They called me back when they knew they could make it to my place. They provided a 2 hour window for arrival. I left the house due to the smell and asked they call me shortly before arrival so I could make sure I was there. They did! Several other plumbers said they would try to make it later, but T&C was the only one to really commit, communicate and show up when they said.

They got the water out of my cellar and provided a quote for clean up and repairs. The quote was all inclusive, parts and labor. It detailed the work they would do and Tim assured me, no matter what, that was the top mark for the work described. They handled the permits and worked well with the inspector. The effort took three more days and Tim and Terry continued to show up when they said they would and do what they said they would do.

They disinfected and cleaned the cellar, placed fans and ran a dehumidifier to ensure it dried thoroughly. They also replaced some old clay piping and added a clean out valve outside the front of the house. The clean out was in my cellar before and resulted in several plumbers having to move heavy equipment into the cellar, sometimes damaging and chipping the stairs. They also ensured the rest of the line was clear and checked to ensure no additional pipe needed replacement.

The work was done professionally and on time. Mostly, though, Tim and Terry were capable and competent. When I would ask questions, they had reasonable answers. These guys are pros. I was fine with the price, given they needed a backhoe, had to be on-site four different days to do the work, showed up each day when they said they would and completed the project on time.

The final day, I mentioned to Tim I thought I smelled mold in the cellar. He came down with me to re-inspect it, just to make sure we got cardboard and anything else out that is a breeding ground for mold out. That day, I removed a sleeping bag and tent in a cardboard box that got wet. The smell is gone and the cellar is cleaner than it has been in a long time.

Bottom line, Tim and Terry are my plumbers now, no matter what.
