I have a commercial suite that needs to remodel. My previous general contractor abandoned the project in the middle. That contractor hired Miguel as a subcontractor for the project. I am glad I got Miguel's contact to communicate with him directly to continue with the plumbing job. He did to extension for the water pipe for a new sink and for a washer. The old suite does not have these. He saved my life during this difficult time. He was very responsive when I asked questions on what was needed to be done. He helped me get through all the inspections from the city. He asked his employees to show up right away and got anything that I asked for done quickly like installing the new sink and toilet, fixing the damage on the drainage, and fixing the toilet leaking. I can't thank Miguel enough for all the emergency help he did at my suite. Miguel's team did a great job at my suite. They even fixed things for me on the weekend as it is really hard in general to ask companies to work on the weekend. Dealing with city of Austin in construction is hard from getting the building permit to passing all the inspections. Miguel has experience with it and understands well how the city works. I trust that Miguel can do a good job in residential plumbing as well. I would hire him for any plumbing related job later. Highly recommended!

Miguel came out to our home on very short notice to give me a quote on replacing a toilet flange that involved the the possibility of having to jackhammering part of my floor amongst other things he took one look gave me a great price after another plumber gave me an outrageous quotes to do this job ,as it turned out he was able to do this job without damaging my floor or jackhammering anything​​​​​

Miguel and his team were outstanding with our very extensive plumbing project which required replacing all of the corroded cast iron pipes underneath our duplex. It required tunneling under the home, putting in all new pipes, and packing everything tightly back in. They were able to get the project done 2x as fast as two other companies quote and they were able to provide a much more affordable rate. We couldn't be more impressed by this company's expertise, quality of work, and transparency. Would highly recommend them for any and all plumbing projects!

I had the same issue as a previous reviewer. Torres was supposed to come to install a water softener on Tuesday. He didn't show up and called slightly before the appointment with some excuse. We rescheduled for Friday. He didn't show up or even contact me. I wasted a week waiting for them. Although he said they warranty their work, imagine trying to get a hold of him if there was an issue with the work. It seems you would be on your own to find a different plumber to do the repair. For these reasons, I find Torres Plumbing to me completely unprofessional and would not recommend them.

I needed a new water heater and a friend recommended Mr. Torres. He was able to come over my house right away, gave me an estimate and his company, which includes his sons, took care of everything. They were extremely professional and very respectful of my property. I highly recommend them.

I called on monday to get a shower valve replaced
He said next day, tuesday evening, he said next day.
Next day, same thing.
Friday evening nobody showed up, nobody Called.
I understand , if they do not have the time, I cannot do it, or I even respect they were not interested at all.
But tell me.you cannot do it.
I'll look someone else, instead making me lose the entire week, and make me look like a liar to my clients.

In Westlake--I get picky about who I hire.
My outdoor hose pipe froze during the Feb. freeze and a friend recommended Torres Plumbing. Miguel himself showed up at the job site to assess the situation after I texted him-very responsive. This was within 3-4 days of my call when everyone else was 1-2 weeks out. He was very knowledgeable, logical and knew exactly what he was doing. He found a solution within 10 minutes. The situation was-- all the weep holes along the kitchen and garage walls were leaking water as soon as it was turned on. So we had to shut the main valve and wait.
I had lined up leak detection service and another foundation plumber scheduled. But none of that was needed after Miguel solved the problem and way less expensive--very fair pricing and efficient service and has plenty of knowledge. Awesome professional job!

Miguel Torres is a very good owner of a plumbing company.

Last week as a result of the Texas 2021 deep freeze my water pipe to outside faucet broke over the garage.

Torres plumbing sent a guy immediately Sunday evening and fixed the leaks/problem for a reasonable charge. I have running water after 6 days!!!!!

I strongly recommend them for your emergency plumbing needs.

My hero during the great Texas freeze. This is seriously one of the most dedicated teams I have seen. They worked so hard (and well into the evening) to restore my water from a busted pipe that was gushing into my kitchen. My dark tile floors were filthy from two days of workers and me - when I came back it looked like our cleaning people had been there! Bonus! Can''t say enough about them - Miguel is so kind, compassionate and hard working - my new plumber for life.

Our water heater was 26 years old (how does that even happen??) with old piping that was out of code - original to the house. Miguel came and took a look and gave us a quote. We spoke with two other plumbers who offered a much higher starting quote - and that was without considering the updates that would be needed. We let Miguel know we were ready to move forward and he was able to come at a date and time that worked for us - the removal, plumbing updates, and installation were done quickly and efficiently. New water heater looks great and works great too! Would highly recommend.
