Fred returned my call within 20 minutes and apologized that he could not get to me until afternoon as he was booked all morning. True to his word, he called early afternoon to say he was on his way. He solved my drain problem quickly and efficiently, and checked my pipes for problems. He was friendly, affable and a pleasure to do business with. I will definitely call him again if I have a problem.

I own a rental unit in Los Alamos. It shares some plumbing with another rental unit. The landlord of the other unit had roto-rooter do some work. Apparently they had trouble finding his billing address. So they sent me a letter at my tenant's address (arrived Aug 12) telling me that if it wasn't paid by Aug 14 they would put a lien on MY property.

I had nothing to do with hiring them. I would have understood sending me a notice saying they had done some work for plumbing on my unit but hadn't gotten paid. But to jump straight to ""you have 2 days to pay or we're putting a lien on your property"" and relying on my tenant to open the mail addressed to me and forward it to me is unprofessional.

While he didn't get back to me when I left a message Friday early afternoon, he called me back Monday before noon, and was able to come and take care of me later that day and perform a routine clean-out of blocked sewer pipes. Definitely the cheapest to perform that service in White Rock/Los Alamos.

We left message after message on an answering machine, when the call was finally returned (days later), the arrogant owner aggravated me with his condescending attitude and lack of professionalism. Never count on RR to respond in an emergency, that is not going to happen. Fortunately, for us, we were able to obtain the services of Waller Plumbing- fast, efficient and courteous.

John did a fine job in Spring 2008, expertly replacing our decades old boiler and water bottle, and redoing some crazy retrofitted gas piping from an old job, to give us a tidy new ""physical plant"" for the house, in preparation to sell.

I retired as Fire Chief and have lived in Portales since 2001 and have used D & D plumbing for the last five years. They installed my water heater with a very reliable brand and I have not had any problems with it for five years. They also replaced under sink supply lines and drains. They used top parts and did it in a very timely manner. They have also install my outside frost free faucets, replaced the float in my toilets and helped me plan for a septic tank replacement. I like D & D because they respond the same day and very fairly priced on their parts and labor and they back up the work they do.

Do NOT use them! They are scammers. They installed an older model (possibly used) water heater and illegally rewired the electrical outlet and wiring on the water heater. They wouldn't take responsibility for it until the state licensing department was contacted.

Been using Daniel's for years and have NEVER been disappointed by the technicians they have sent out. The young man who came to my home today named Joel was no exception. He was professional and fast and thorough. He also gave me some excellent advice and insight on switching to central heat and air. At the end of the job he had done, he was already packed up in his truck when I mentioned a concern about the furnace. He offered to go back up and check it again, which he did. Thanks again for excellent service Joel!!

I call Brad at Bill's Sewer Service first. He has cleaned my sewers many times and does excellent work every time. Now Brad has cleaned my bathroom drain for the first time and, as usual, did Grade A work. Also, I've needed difficult repairs along the way, and for those, Brad shows his engineering background and produces tidy, high quality fixes every time.
