My landlord uses top notch plumbing regularly, so Mark has been out to my house 3-4 times for relatively minor issues. Not only has he never successfully fixed what he was sent to fix, but he usually doesn't leave before creating at least ... More

They were fast in responding to my request for help, same day even. The plumber was polite and friendly. He stuck to the price quote. And preformed the service correctly. I tried to get other Plumbing businesses to work for me but they ... More

Service: Shower repair
Positive: Quality, Responsiveness
Mark came out quickly as I had a DIY failure. He was careful to be sure he had the appropriate parts before arriving and installed my new shower fixtures. He's very knowledgeable and had it done quickly. Very reasonable rates.

Unfortunately I fell for the good reviews online. Mark came as scheduled to install a drip pan under the water heater as requested by the new owners of our condo. It passed all tests and had been working fine until Mark came and did his ... More

Wish I had looked here first. I called to request that a leak in the shower head be looked at. Mark came out and fixed it by replacing the faucet handle. It seemed different to me because I had to turn the handle tighter and more turns ... More

My landlord uses top notch plumbing regularly, so Mark has been out to my house 3-4 times for relatively minor issues. Not only has he never successfully fixed what he was sent to fix, but he usually doesn't leave before creating at least one new problem or somehow making something even worse.
Once, he was sent out for a leak in the basement. A roofer had already identified the problem as cracked flashing allowing rain to flow down along a pipe into the basement, but Mark invented a bathtub leak, replaced the caulking (lazily and sloppily, I might add), and then essentially glued the faucet handle down with caulk. The leak in the basement continued, and I had to figure out how to fix the bathtub before I could take a shower.
Another time, he was sent here because our basement sink basin was leaking when the washing machine drained into it. When he left, I noticed that the faucet was leaking worse than it ever had before, and the next day when I ran a load of laundry, the original leak was every bit as bad as before he came.
On top of this, he is rude and uncommunicative over the phone, often foregoing scheduling, just calling for the first time when he's 30 minutes away and expecting you to move your life around to accommodate him.
Overall, I would recommend literally any other option over using top notch plumbing. In my experience, it saves a tremendous amount of time and headache (and money if you aren't a renter like me) to just look up how to fix the problem and do it yourself, because otherwise you'll just end up with more problems than you started with.

They were fast in responding to my request for help, same day even. The plumber was polite and friendly. He stuck to the price quote. And preformed the service correctly. I tried to get other Plumbing businesses to work for me but they could not schedule my request till the middle of next month or did not answer their phone? Unlike Top Notch Plumbing who were excellent. We again had a Plumbing emergency and Mark came within a hour to fix the leaking bathroom sink.

Mark responded to our issue right away, was professional, and got the job done quickly at a reasonable cost

I hired this Company based on Yelp but felt like he wasn't accurately portrayed in regards to price. Mark was quick to respond and to help with our plumbing problem (flap in toilet tank needed replacement)we live 4 minutes from Home Depot so he was there and back with flap in 12 minutes the entire scenario of repair from start to finish was 30 minutes but the charge was $148.00 and my husband asked me why I didn't ask his hourly rate which must be $268/hour. So top notch is quick but very expensive so be sure to get price ahead of time! My husband and I trust everyone and that is naivety.

I called Top Notch Plumbing with an issue I had. The shutoff valves under a sink appeared to have malfunctioned and water was no longer coming out. The person I spoke with took the time to listen to me describe the issue and told me to remove the faucet screens and clean them since he thought that was the problem and didn't want to charge me for a simple fix. l followed his instructions and the issue was resolved. This is by far the most honest company I have come across. I did speak to several other plumbing companies before and they were either were booked for weeks in advance or wanted to charge me $199 just to stop by.
I will be using Top Notch Plumbing going forward for any future plumbing needs.

Our water heat went out (it was time), and we called Mark on Sunday night. He actually answered even thought it was Sunday, and he scheduled us as 3rd appointment Monday (today).
He came when he said he would, and he did the work fast and efficiently at a fair price.
We've used him before and had a similar experience. As my partner says, ""If you're looking for a plumber in Wilsonville or Tualatin, look no further.""

I called this business about a clogged sink problem, and Mark got back to me when he was available the same day. Then he showed up and fixed it quickly and professionally. The other places where I left a message didn't even bother returning my call.

So great to find an honest and responsible person through yelp! I called Mark and he admitted that he had been working long days and was taking a day off but he was nice enough to help me fix a plumbing leak over the phone. He could've made me wait until tomorrow and charge me $200 but he walked me through the fix by phone in literally five minutes. This guy is honest, knows what is talking about and there's no BS. Highly recommended!!!

While other plumbers quoted me two weeks, I can't thank Mark enough for coming next day on a Saturday. He fixed the problem in less than 15 minutes so we had a functioning kitchen again. I definitely recommend him!!

So grateful.
I returned home one day with massive flooding from the guest toilet and did the one thing I knew, turn off the water to the toilet. But as water continues to surge up, fear set in.
Top notch plumbing answered the phone immediately and assessed the situation over the phone and helped determine it was a drainage issues and recommended a different company that would be able to complete the job.
Grateful for the great phone service and recommendation. He was very professional and I would definitely call again if I have future plumbing needs.
